Absolutely divine craft cocktails made by some of the best bartenders in the city (Violet hour / Mother's Ruin alumni). Come in on a slow night, get to know the bartenders, let them take you on an experimental experience and you won't be disappointed. The vibe is both chill and elevated, creating an experience you won't forget; whether you're seated at the bar solo or in a plush couch with your favorite person.

I was super uncomfortable here for various reasons. 1). The music is too loud for hearing your conversation. It’s not just the volume. It’s the pitch and tin of the sound. It’s either a bad system or not set well. I asked if they could turn it down and they said no and that it was at the lowest they would allow the volume. While I don’t have such a condition, I have a friend who suffers from debilitating tinnitus. There are many other hearing disorders such as misophonia and Meniere’s Disease. There’s. Bad din in here overall and nighthawk is just as small and doesn’t have this issue. The staff member was a guy with long blonde hair and was condescending like making fun of us it seemed when he wouldn’t turn it down. 2)The hvac air from the vents is Suffocating and gave me a headache. 3). Both times I was in the bathroom, someone banged on the door super loud and kept trying to open the locked door. My friend also felt uncomfortable overall here so we had one drink and left. He couldn’t hear me talk at all. We didn’t even want to bother with the cocktails and just had a beer each.

A quaint and cute little spot with fabulous craft cocktails. The bartender made incredibly delicious drinks and was somehow able to take care of the entirely packed bar, even serving food in between shaking cocktails with both hands.

Our first visit and our expectations were surpassed! While Bokeh has an extensive cocktail list, we went with classics, including a gin martini with a lemon twist, which was outstanding. Equally impressive was the playlist. Already looking forward to our next visit :)

This might be the best cocktail bar in Chicago - not pretentious and very chill.I was really impressed by everything. There was one guy working but felt tended to the entire evening. The atmosphere was great. Got several drinks including the bokeh (made with fernet), the shaky face, the hot toddy (seasonal) and more. The most goofy drink was the shaky face drink where you pay $2 for a Polaroid of your face shaking in the photo. It was so silly and I lokey loved that.Also got the grilled cheese, the goat cheese sandwich, the beer cheese soup, and chips and queso. Everything was so good!!!!! Very impressed by the service, atmosphere, food, and of course the drinks.Parking wasn’t bad either. Street parking ofc. Paid meters outside
