WOW! Don’t sleep on this spot. The arepas are amazing! I got the Blondie and a side of black beans. They really don’t skimp on meat or cheese here. It was fantastic!

Yummy hearty food. I got the Pabellon Criollo which satisfied my craving for rice and beans. The shredded beef was a tad bit chewy but I would still re-order. We also tried their chocolate cake and Tres Leches and highly recommend both. The chocolate cake has a hint of another flavor that makes it stand out it from a standard chocolate cake and I really enjoyed it.

Such a good spot for Venezuelan food! I tried the beef arepa and the tequeños, and both were absolutely delicious; full of flavor and made with care. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they were happy to speak Spanish with me and let me practice. I’ll definitely be back here!

What a hidden gem! The service was fabulous and the food was absolutely amazing; everything from the apps to the arapas to the coffee.
We had a group of four and kept remarking about how cozy it was, and how friendly the staff was. All through the evening, we kept saying “wow, the food was amazing there…”
Would absolutely be back.

Great little Venezuelan restaurant in Wrigley. I got the Queen Arepa which is a chicken avocado salad with gouda. The guasacaca sauce it came with for dipping was really good and added to the flavor. It was a big arepa so I had a little to take home with me.

The papelón con limón was the perfect mix of sweet and tart. It’s basically a really good Venezuelan limeade.

It has a cozy vibe with tables alongside the counter, as well as window seats with pillows. The reason for the 4 stars is because when I compare it to another South American restaurant right down the street, The Lanzaga, they are a step above in every category.

I happened upon B&L by accident and what a treat this place is. The arepas are MASSIVE and extremely flavorful. The tequeños were piping hot and the accompanying sauces paired perfectly. Highly recommend checking this place out.

This was honestly one of my best bites of all time. The flavor was incredible and one arepa was enough food to make me feel stuffed. The owner was so friendly and gave us great recommendations. Fast, friendly, service, clean restaurant, and amazing food for a great price-Bolivar and Lincoln checks all the boxes!

Pollo cachapa was absolutely phenomenal. Pabellon arepa was also excellent. Papelon con limon and passion fruit juice were delicious.
Great nice service, food came pretty quickly.

I wasn’t a big fan or arepas until I tried these. They’re thin and crispy—not too doughy. The meats and fillings tasted great and fresh. The yuca fries and sauces are yummy. Can’t wait to visit again!

The ambience is nice, but the meat lacks flavor and is not very tender. At this price point, it's worth walking down to 11 Degree North for much better arepas.

Absolutely love this place! Came by for my birthday and they were so accommodating of our party of 8 despite the cafe being on the smaller side. Everything was brought out swiftly and service was amazing! We didn’t tell them it was my birthday, but they’d seen I had a birthday sash on and brought out a cake to help us celebrate! Could not recommend this place enough!

I came in here after a Cubs game looking for a place to charge my phone. Naturally I got some food. This place is amazing! Ambience, environment, and the food is amazing. I let the waiter pick what I ate. I'm not sorry I did!
