Not messing around when I say this is some of the best food I have ever had. My buddy and I got the arepas and empanadas and both were excellent. I will definitely be coming back when I’m in town.
My goodness, this is the best Venezuelan food I’ve ever had in my life. Wow! So friendly also.
Fabulous food. Arepas, steaks and shredded beef nicely cooked. Flavorful. Server was courteous and helpful. Enjoyed our meal there.
The food here is very authentic—true to South American flavors. I really enjoyed the arepa, which was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The tequeños were also a highlight—crispy but not overly fried like at many other places.
One thing to keep in mind: while the photos make the portions appear quite large, I found them to be on the smaller side, especially for the price. The Queen Arepa (chicken salad with avocado and gouda cheese) came out to about $18 with tax, which felt a bit steep for what was served.
The ambiance is fairly basic, and the service was underwhelming—probably a 2 out of 5. I wasn’t greeted or offered a smile, and the staff didn’t seem particularly happy to be there, even though I was the only customer during peak lunch hour. That said, maybe it was just an off day, so I’m not going to hold that against them too much.
Despite those drawbacks, I do plan to come back. Next time, I want to try the strip steak with avocado arepa—it sounds fantastic. The flavors are definitely worth exploring further.
The arepas are huge and delicious!
Delicious
Best venezuelan restaurant. We tried another 3 before in the área.

Arepa pabellon was sooo good. The empanadas are generously portioned. 1-2 is enough for one person.

Absolutely fantastic! Fast, friendly service, warm atmosphere, and most importantly, DELICIOUS food. Yucca fries were perfectly light, crispy, and airy and the arepas are amazing. So glad this place is in the neighborhood.

This Venezuelan spot is a true gem! The arepas are a work of art—not only delicious but also beautifully presented (check out the photos if you need convincing). While it’s a bit on the pricey side, the excellent service and cozy ambiance make it worth every penny. The narrow yard seating adds a warm, intimate feel, perfect for a laid-back meal. A definite must-try!
