Great spot but only open for lunch, chicken caesar salad and italiain beef are great
Best lunch restaurant in the west loop Staff is amazing, Joe and Claudette treat the regulars like family. Best chicken parm, lemon chicken salad, pasta e fagioli, everything is outstanding
OG Italian, open for something like 40 years already. Everything is really good, you will not be disappointed. Home cooked, natural ingredients. Family run. Daily specials. Cash or Card, can't go wrong, get involved.
Good Italian sub, but all the decorations are beer bottles and bar memorabilia... and they dont sell alcohol. Not sure what that is about but it was dissappointing.
I never thought I had to come to Chicago to have Italian food as good as my mamma's. Pasta e fazool. Eggplant parmigiana. Honest Italian staples that only true Italian cooks can turn into poetry. Bombacigno's J & C makes poetry and adds music to it.
Wonderful, cozy, old school place with friendly service and fantastic Italian sandwiches. Highly recommended!
Legitimately one of the best Italian beef sandwiches ever.
Classic no frills no fuss italian sub. Fun atmosphere and quick service.
Very good. The focaccia is where it's at.
Classic Italian old style tavern with authentic touch. Plenty of meal options so you never get tired to tried something new. Surely not fancy but unique experience. Only downside side is the cash-only rule. Recommended for the price too

Caprese sandwich
My favorite sandwich / lunch place downtown. The focaccia sub is the absolute best. Real, fresh cottage fries. Eclectic, nostalgic decor. Looks like a dive from the outside, but go in - you won't be disappointed. Family run, friendly staff. Absolutely unique in the South Loop. Using the dining area on the second floor up the rickety stairs is an absolute trip. Great, heavy, heavy food - as one of my friends said "if you order the vegetable lasagna, make sure you say "no meat sauce"".
Freshest food daily! Been going there for 30 years. Perfection. Best “gravy†in Chicago.
Great homemade food with an old mom and pop shop feel
Open 5 days a week, closes by 3pm. With those hours it must be good and it is!
