I'm on a business travel to chicago this week. I have been trying different Indian restaurants in the area. While most of them in downtown area are good to average, this one turned out to ve below average. I ordered non veg mixed tandoor grill, dal saag and chilli naan. Tandoor grill items are a huge disappointment. It comes up with two varieties of chicken, fish and shrimp. None of them are grilled or cooked. I tasted chicken and shrimp and spit them both. Couldn't eat. Lots of colors added, under cooked. Wet masala layer can be seen on each piece. I ordered for chilli naan, instead i got regular one. I gave 2 stars only because Dal saag was edible and i could fill up my stomach with that. I would never order from this place and do not recommend for anyone.

This is the old Mughal India restaurant that broke my heart and closed. They are back. And honestly this is the best Indian food in the city. I don't know if this is the same chef/management as before but the food is great. Almost life changing.

A little pricey for the spread. Decent taste, less spicy for - maybe to please the americans :).

Great food. Always order to go and pick it up and am never disappointed. We get the chicken makhani and aloo saag.

Food is good but overpriced. Slow service outside of buffet hours. Might come back after they have some time to find their footing.

Two stars and that's more for their service than their food. The service was excellent but the food was disappointing. We ordered butter chicken that tasted nothing like butter chicken. The chicken had a weird taste as if it wasn't cleaned well enough so we barely touched our appetizer. Overall experience was not what I expected so I don't see myself dining there again soon.

The “Food†is delicious and staff (the lady at the front desk/cashier) is always very pleasant and a joy to talk to. A very welcoming place...I will certainly come back!

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Greeted right away. A small establishment, but there was enough seating for the lunch crowd - mostly those coming in during the work week. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Buffet aisle was very clean, food properly heated. We have a number so colleagues who have come from India that personally recommend this place, so you know it has to be decent! The food had a bit of a bite to it, but still palatable (I weak when it comes to very spicy food, unfortunately!). Overall good. You can also choose the takeout option and pack as much food as you can in their to go box for $10!

Had the Chilli Chicken Wrap and it was excellent and much bigger then wraps from other places. I will be going back for sure

Food was amazing. We ordered chicken biryani and mixed grill, so yum!! The service was great. They were so generous and served us iftar. There's a paid parking area right next to restaurant. It's so close to the downtown. Will definitely go back.
The tandoori mix grill is a good way to sample the various grilled items and chicken tikka masala with rice and naan. Along with the bhindi masala, the taste though was just average.

I ordered this takeout last week based on the reviews. It was okay. The veggie samosas were amazing! So delicious and crispy! But I got the tikka masala and was unimpressed. Not a lot of flavor shockingly. Also, I was frustrated that I paid $14 for a dish that didn't even come with rice? Seriously? All in all, not worth the price.

Clean restaurant and fresh naan. Would recommend.

This place is really great! There are practically no Indian restaurants that do buffet style in the city, which would be a huge disappointment if this place didn't exist. Their food is wonderful! The naan bread is really good, cooked perfectly, perfect crisp / oil / fluffy ratio. I love the butter chicken, saag paneer, raita... everything I've had here is fantastic. Rice is very fresh and perfectly cooked. I've been to many places that burn rice... have never seen that here. Highly recommend! :)

What delicious food, and nice people. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Fresh naan is fantastic. Many choices at lunch buffet. Owner said they have been open for just 2 months, and I am so glad I found this place. Fantastic!
