First off I love this neighborhood foodies paradise! Bombobar donuts are not your typical cake donuts. We tried two different types one with chocolate and one with caramel and a shake/ice cream definitely need to share that to much for one person. The donuts are covered in sugar and come with a little squeeze bottle of whatever sauce you wanted. It is up to you to squeeze out as much sauce as you might want. If you are a total fan of a good cake donut, these may not be for you, but they are certainly worth a try, and were pretty good, especially as they come to you nice & warm. The prices are a bit high, but that is to be expected for the neighborhood. 100% recommend!

Great food
BomboBar in West Loop’s a solid spot, grabbed a Bombolato and a single scoop of cappuccino gelato. Total was about $13 with a Siciliana Limonata. Bombolato was warm, doughy, and that bacon-sweet combo hit just right. Gelato was smooth and not overly rich. Chill sidewalk seating, fast service, and def a fun sweet treat, just wish they had more vegan gelato flavors.
BomboBar is a must-hit spot if you’ve got a sweet tooth! I spent about $15 on a Cookie Monster Bomboloni and an iced caramel latte, and both were next-level good. The bomboloni was warm, fluffy, and stuffed with gooey blue cookie butter filling, topped with cookie crumbles—it was basically a dessert masterpiece. The latte was smooth and not too sweet, which balanced out the sugary goodness perfectly. The outdoor seating is a nice touch, and even though the line can get long, it moves fast. If you're craving over-the-top donuts and killer coffee, this place won’t disappoint!
Closed for the season!
Donut filled with ice cream, absolutely incredible.
Absolutely no place to sit… a few outdoor stools and no protection from cold! They should serve this from inside restaurant especially in the winter! We left without even ordering! Was bummed as ice cream in photos looked so good!
Icecream is delicious, very creamy and flavorful. I love the donuts they just melt in your mouth.

Doughnuts are fresh and taste good, however shrinkflation definitely happened. The doughnuts are WAY smaller than it used to be, and they do not have a squeeze bottles with them anymore.

Their Vegan chocolate ice cream is so rich and perfect. A dream for dark chocolate lovers.

This “in the cut/window service” sweet treat place is great for if you’re in need of a treat or want to take a walk in west loop! My friend and I stopped here to get something for a walk in the neighborhood: we tried the salted caramel with snicker bites gelato and the strawberry lemonade Italian ice. Both were 10/10 delicious! The service was quick and of quality. It’s also such a cute shop to look at! Definitely will be back throughout the summer!

Came here just for the Bombolini!! I'd say it's best to share as it is a big portion and lots of sugar. A bit pricey for a doughnut but had tons of fun with the 'squeeze me' bottle. Worth going once if you near by in Chicago.
