Omar is the manager of the place, he made sure our food was well served and warm. great customer service! And the pizzas were 10/10. We were happy to learn that there’s no pork in their pizzas! Will come again to this location ♥️

Love how casual this place is. The patio seating is perfect for the summer. The pepperoni was a favorite. They also have games outside. Plenty of parking too. The people working were kind and helpful. Id recommend it!

I ate here after walking around my neighborhood. The atmosphere and food are great. But, I recommend asking about the price in the slice. The price of pizza will depend on the weight, so it is best to ask what the cost per pound is.

A random dinner find. Pick your poison, and they heat it up. The pizza was good. No water available.
Not only the Best Pizza in Chicago and Rome but I'd say best in the US.

We live a block away from Bonci and it is our go to spot almost every weekend. Great pizza, friendly staff, and conveniently located! Not much more we could ask for :)

I found a pizza shop when I was passing by.
Before, this was a cafe.
When I looked into it, it seems that the owner is from Italy.
I was thinking of coming next time, but it happened today.
There is a pizza showcase inside the store.
There are counter seats by the window.
Now they have outside seating as well.
When it comes to pizza, you can order whatever you want and the amount you want, and sell it by scale.
Prices vary depending on the pizza.
The price is a little high.
Spicy eggplant pizza, prosciutto pizza, and pepperoni recommended by the staff.
When I tried it, it felt more like focaccia than pizza. I don't like American pepperoni pizza because it's salty, but the pepperoni here is delicious.
Sitting outside on the terrace, you can feel the cool breeze and feel comfortable.
It's been a while since I've had San Pellegrino's Limone, but I was shocked to see that it contained a lot of sugar.

The pizza was great, not expensive. Regular portions, unless you are American... You might need two portions or three if you are very hungry. The people that work there are very friendly...

In short, Bonci serves up some of the best pizza I've had in Chicago. And having holidayed in a few cities throughout Italy including Rome, the pizza is pretty authentic. The crust is perfect and the flavor for all 4 types of pizza we ordered was spot it. Exceptionally delicious.
Bonci does not serve pizza by the slice. Rather everything is weighed so you can order as much or little as you want. I deducted one star because the pizza is VERY expensive. Easily $20-$25 person if you want to be truly stuffed (no pun). This isn't an issue for a light snack on the go, but spending $80-$100 for a party of 4 for dinner is heartbreaking. I highly recommend going at least once however.

The pizza looks delicious and the toppings draw you in but the taste is pretty meh. I’m glad I checked this off my list though now I know not to recommend to others.

Love the concept of this place! They have you decide how big you want your slice, cut it with scissors and price it by weight. The crust is crispy and delicious and the toppings were tasty. We tried 3 different types - mushroom and sausage, margherita, and burrata and basil. All good stuff though the burrata and basil was our favorite. Nice seating outdoors. Give this place a try!
