We were excited to try Bonci, but the experience was jarring from the moment we walked in. Instead of the welcoming ambiance you’d expect at a Roman-style pizzeria, we were blasted with deafening Spanish music—so loud it was impossible to hear my date. If I wanted a Roman pizza, I definitely didn’t sign up for a Dominican jungle soundtrack. It completely ruined the atmosphere.

Now, the pizza itself is fantastic—no complaints there. But the service? Terrible....
This is a MUST try in West Loop, especially if you want to impress your friends with a good lunch spot in the area

I ordered a simple pepperoni & sausage (which was solid!) but you HAVE to order the potato ricotta

I’m literally craving it as I write this. Thats how good it is.

The staff pretty much works with you to size how much pizza you want (which is then priced by weight) & then warms it up for about 5 minutes...
Well they have beautiful small outside seating space good for 4-6 people and though the space is less but they have the best crust than any pizza place I can guarantee that. It's super delicious and u get to pay according to the weight of the slices of pizza you can mix and match and taste you favorite piece of pizza
