This place by far has the most authentic Italian dishes. Very small quaint atmosphere. Very cozy. I'm on a keto diet and they happened to have a lasagna made with Zucchini instead of pasta. It had so much flavor. A taste food group with a tourguide happened to come in and sit next to us. I over heard her telling the group this place has the most authentic Italian beef sandwiches. It Definitely is a hidden gem. Small little walk way to find it. They have desserts too. Great prices. Really good charcuterie board. The service was the best. The chef and owners came around to chat with people. 5 stars for sure.

We visited Buonjiorno’s on an organized food tour along with family who live in Chicago and others. We had the Italian Beef Sandwich which was outstanding! We will definitely visit this place the next time we are in Chicago and our family who live there found a new place to add to their list of delicious restaurants to visit regularly.

The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We tried the pizza and a sandwich. The pizza was delicious and authentic. The sandwich was also wonderful, the bread was the best part. If I lived near Chicago, I would make this my go-to place to get pizza.

The owners of this establishment are so warm and concerned about their customers. They made sure that my daughter's were happy with what they ordered, and then came to make sure that the second order was what she wanted. This is a rare gem. High recommend. Will certainly be back!!
