This club has been around too long. It's trying to deceive new customers with a different name they use ..The Mine Music Hall. It's still the same place that has ZERO Respect for It's mostly POC customers. It knows it has one of the largest venues in the city that play Latin music and Top 40 HipHop. It's never had a problem being blatantly rude and disrespectful to customers before they even enter the venue...and giving below standard/bare minimum customer service to all customers even people ordering bottle service and trying to throw birthday parties. Customers with money to spend need to go elsewhere and save this tragedy for the young kids who don't know any better...they'll have to learn the hard way..it's one thing for a nightclub to be selective..it's quite another to treat patrons like trash for no reason.

Made a deal with someone at the door that guys would get in for $10 that quickly changed when we got to the front of the line they now charged $20 for guys. Bottle service girl was never to be found throughout the night I had to do a lot of chasing and finding her to get limes or Soda. Service sucked. Note to readers * if you're buying a bottle here tip after service is completed. I made the mistake to sign everything at once and bottle service girl took that as her job was complete. Honestly, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is unfortunately this second time in a row Transit/The Mine has disappointed. There's a reason why no one goes here anymore. This went from a good go-to, to no longer an option. Do not rely on this club if you have a group of friends going and walk towards the entrance in a good mood because automatically the bouncers will assume you got off a party bus and deny entrance without any appropriate reason. I recommend other places for birthdays and important events.

I went to this club for my birthday and was horrible for one over price for another the manger and the security there were so mean and rude to me and my friends they pick and choose who gets in for d*** reasons. Racist too. I will never go to this club again. down!

How do I begin to count the ways of what went wrong at this club. First of all, 4 females paid $90 to get in, the man at the door wanted to charge us $120 but gave us a "discount" (utter b******** but on vacation and reluctant to find something else, we paid). 8 seconds after walking in (on a Friday night) we realized a mariachi band was playing and immediately turned around towards the exit. The man at the front would not give us our money back so we ended up staying. It was after midnight and there was NOT a lot of people there. We figured we'd be paying $90 for at least a "lit" spot...definitely not the case. We made the most of it but ended up getting kicked out because another patron tried to fight us but apparently we "were starting fights." We missed placed our keys and no one cared it was snowing out and we had no means of getting home. They still forced us out the door (since we were "starting fights") I would NOT recommend this place! Entry fee too high and experience was too low. Stay far away from this place.

Worst experience ever. The guy at the entrance was super rude. Bar tenders rude. Literally everyone was super rude. DO NOT COME HERE the music suck. A girl that works there got in my face and was super unprofessional. Please go anywhere else in Chicago it'll be so much better.

I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive coming here after reading some bad reviews.... and guess what? I was pleasantly surprised! I came this past Saturday for one of my friend's bachelorette. We wanted to come to a nightclub where they played Latin music and this was the top choice. From the moment we arrived, the door guys were nice and let us group of girls skip the line (omg it was long) Anyway, we had booked a table and we got a complimentary bottle of champagne (that was nice!) The music was great, we didn't feel like security was hovering and we had no issues! I would def come back for a party and recommend this place when we feel like dancing! PS... our bartender was cute! :p

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! They legit kicked out my designated driver! How?! He's sober cause he was too intoxicated I'm never going back! Do not go here they will treat you like trash the hospitality is terrible Everything was terrible It might sound nice and everything but it will backfire please save your time and go somewhere else!! Terrible is the best word to describe this place!

Booked this club for me and a friend's 21st birthday and we surprisingly had a good experience despite the bad reviews on here. We got a tiny tall table by the dancefloor and a bottle of champagne (which was gone when i got there LOL @ my crazy friends) and 2 free drink tickets. The water bottle is I think if I remember $9. And my other friends who came after 12 had to pay $20 when it says on the reservation ladies are free all night. The club mostly played hispanic songs which is not a problem to me at all but I wish they also played other songs too cus I heard the same song too many times. Overall, I had fun. Everyone was drunk anyway. But I'm not sure if I will go back again.

Apparently you need to be on a list to get in before 2:30am, the time at which they let general admission folks in, but ladies are supposed to be free before midnight. There was also no one in the line and we got there around 10:30pm. I also scheduled my party online via a link I received from transits' texting system yet I couldn't get in. I called the club numerous times with various numbers and no one got back to me when I was trying to verify my party. It's a scam and the bouncers are rude.

Ladies free Guys $10 B4 12am w/text the lady charging did not care to see the text she said it's $20 to get in . Even after I tried showing her the txt. She said again it's $20 dollars do you want to get in or not . Or we can kick you out. I was there with a group so I had no choice but to pay the $20 because half of my group was already inside. So what's the purpose of sending text messages
