Vanessa was FANTASTIC! She made our night and we will definitely visit next time we find ourselves in Chicago. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Went here on a work outing the other day and as a group of 30+ people we were not treated well by serving staff. They failed to take our dirty plates and only gave out 2 bottles of wine. Some people in the party didn't receive any wine from the staff even tho it was supposed to go to everyone. Over all disappointing and I hope we don't return to this eatery.

Loved our experience we got the chefs boqueria experience. Our server Vanessa R was very attentive, she walked us through the menu and recommended us some food.

Was craving seafood after work and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! At first we tried the croquetas de jamón which were sooo tasty! Decided to go for the seafood paella as entree and it was amazing too, I’d say is for 2/3 people! Our waitress Alejandra was super attentive as well as their manager Zack. Thank you!!

Wonderful experience. We ordered the Boqueria Experience which includes the hand-carved, acorn-fed Ibérico ham, aged for 48 months - a menu item every diner needs to try, and restaurant-selected other tapas dishes, with paella as well. Service was outstanding and the food superb. Look forward to going again!

Tapas are ok, but main dishes (paellla) are bad. Place is definitely understaffed that make service below normal expectations

Such small plates for the price so feels hard to make this a regular go-to date or special occasion spot. Was too expensive and not enough food for a large group but the food itself tasted great and the service was good

My first visit here was fantastic, which is why I was really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this experience didn't live up to the first one. Our tapas arrived cold, and the drinks took about 20 minutes to come out — and even then, they weren't quite right. My margarita came without salt on the rim, and when I asked, the server mentioned it had “diluted,” which was a bit disappointing. Service overall felt a little off. We asked for the dessert menu but didn't see our server again for about 15 minutes, so we eventually decided to skip it.

The food was salty. Really salty. We were a group of 7 ladies - our server was good, not great. Things were left off, forgotten. The bill was left as a QR code. 4 of us were leaving, so one gal picked up the tab. Added gratituity and we left, 3 hours later we were woken by a phone call claiming that we skipped out and didn't pay the bill, even though our remaining friends were moved to a smaller table: no staff confirmed our payment. The manager Zach held our friends hostage and wouldn't let them leave till the entire bill was paid. I do not recommend the restaurant nor will I return,.

Good food, though more about that below. The other dislike is the use of high top tables, especially since they're so close to each other, and can barely hold four plates from your order, in addition to your plates, water and drink glasses. The food was good, but in a few cases, the portion could be a bit bigger. Just two lamb skewers? Only one octopus tentacle, for $23? My biggest food complaint, tho, is the tapas choices seem like a “greatest hits”, and not much innovation. Like many Thai and Italian restaurants in Chicago, there's a lot of similarities on the menus. A big reason I chose this restaurant was that Vermut was served, and none of the very few tapas bars in Chicago serve it. I've seen many food shows on tv that visit Spain, and I don't see anything like what's served over there, here in Chicago. I will probably return to eat the tapas I didn't try, but that might be the only time I do so.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! We got the Boqueria Experience which was a great value for the amount of food we got. Comes with their most popular tapas, and a choice of paella to share with the table. Even includes dessert! A favorite place to bring visitors and guests.

We dined here Oct 6, 6 people and it was amazing. We had a res and were seated immediately. The food is excellent! We had a lovely charcuterie with ham and cheese, grilled octopus, seafood paella, shashito peppers, croquettes, pickled anchovies, ceaser salad, spiced baby carrots, patatas bravas, and montado. We loved every dish, all were served quickly, and beautifully presented. Service was fast and efficient, great drinks, wine and mocktails. This a great choice for a delicious and fun dinner.

Had a great dinner and took advantage of the happy hour menu which has some things not on the regular menu and attractive prices.

The worst food and service! Manager is completely clueless and even the complimentary deserts were not served because they ran out of butane! No ketchup either! Also ran out of it! Definitely the most clueless and unprofessional kitchen and staff!!

Food was good, but service was not great. After dining at Boqueria Atlanta several times and complimenting their staff for excellent service, I was disappointed with how inattentive my service was. One of my tapas was not delivered to my table and my waiter never knew it because he did not stop by my table very often to check on me. Even after calling my waiter over to remind him about my missing tapas plate, it wasn't until I finally became impatient and asked for my check that my tapas was brought out to my table 5 minutes later. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.
