Had a fantastic experience last night here with a group of friends! We were celebrating our friends’ birthday and the entire staff made us feel so welcomed and made sure our friends felt celebrated. Everything from the music, ambience, service and food were all 10/10. Some standouts were definitely their lemon drop martini, the zanahorias and the pork belly paella. Can’t wait to return soon!

When an establishment decides to update its hours that’s a decision that is made in advance. The fact that your online platforms aren’t updated accordingly is unacceptable. Do better management and adjust things in a timely manner so people don’t waste money making their way to a place that now closes at midnight on Wednesdays.

Bordel was a great speakeasy to go to after dinner. It wasn’t too hidden but not too exposed either. We were able to find the door and come in during a show where the bartender found us a booth to slip into even with reservations. Great customer service and even better drinks!

Amazing place. Always a good time with the burlesque shows and atmosphere. But this is the 2nd time that they've tried to nickel and dime us. First time, they overcharged my credit card and only reason we noticed was we got a phone notification. The 2nd time was tonight, we called ahead to ask if we need reservations - they said no, we came in and were asked to sit in the front row of tables where the area was mostly empty. Come to find out... those were "show seats" and charged $10 per person. Never informed us, so we asked to have it removed and they did. Waitress seemed unhappy about it, but otherwise friendly prior to that. We would have tipped more than the 18% mandatory gratuity if they would just get this right. No need to do this, we'd be repeat customers otherwise. To the burlesque performers, keep up the great job. Advice to customers, pay with cash.

Dec 2024: Came in with my friend on a Wednesday around 11pm. Was kind of dead and we expected it to be since it was a Wednesday, but the DJ in there was playing a great variety of music. Good atmosphere. Hidden sort of door to get into. Drinks were strong, but kind of pricey, however they do include 18% service charge.

My wife and I had been here multiple times for the delicious drinks, unfortunately we won't be returning. We were there at about 1am and at around 1:40am we were taking pictures near the paintings in front until a clearly coked out worker came up to us and said "can you guys hurry up with your drinks because we're trying to leave," after she had offered to take a photo of us both together since I was only taking pictures of my wife. We had just gotten our second drink and my wife had to chug hers and ended up getting sick on the way home because of it. Chicago has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and this place added to that sentiment. That's the last dime Bordel gets from me.

I’m always down for a fun time, especially a burlesque experience but this place was pure trash. It was so hot we could barely breathe and it smelled nasty and sticky. I used to come here when it was a classy and fun vibe with DJs but it has changed A LOT.

The show is amazing. Its short but hats down to the show crew. Service was subpar. Cocktails are good but it took 25 minutes to get us first drink after being seated and 20-40 minutes for every other drink after placing an order. 20 minutes to get 2 glasses for water that was on the table.Ordered food for 2 , 1 order arrived second never came. It feels like organization is lacking , servers and bartender running left and right with no guidance or instructions. For a pricey place as this one , one would expect more.
