I came here with friends for a concert recently. They have a free small parking lot so make sure you arrive early to get a spot. Security checked our ID, and bags. The music venue was nice, my only problem is that there is nowhere to sit inside the music hall. I called the venue a few days before the concert, but I kept getting a busy signal. I emailed them as a last resort, but no response.
From what I understand this is a very beloved concert venue in Chicago, so when the hometown dudes in Belmont announced a headline show here I knew I had to make the trip from Minnesota. Coming from Minnesota we have the iconic First Ave so this was similar to that although likely a slightly smaller capacity limit. Staff were awesome from our entry to the venue to the bar staff, my only little complaint is maybe a bar on the other side of the venue but that's not a deal breaker...
Decent sound for a venue this size, little reverby for some shows, but for most acts really great. Amazing grilled chicken sandwich, marinated almost blackened, and fries are incredible with whole grain honey mustard.
