Tasty food, great location! Prompt service and my food was so delicious! I had a hard time deciding on what to order cause I had heard the pancakes and the Diego's chicken sandwich were both great (both my kids had been before me) but I wasn't super, super hungry. Went with the Dieguito Benedict cause that's my son's nickname and I'm glad I went with it cause it did not disappoint. Will definitely return next time I'm in town visiting my daughter.

Delicious food and great options for all food lovers!! Staff very friendly and quick to serve. Love the outside seating and they allow pets outside. Prices are average for the meal portions. The mango iced tea was thirst quencher and the breakfast burrito was filling. The supreme chorizo meal was great as well. Very busy place so get early unless you're okay with 15 - 30 minute wait. There are also other stores near by to visit while you wait.

Food was horrible. Ordered something to pick up quick before starting work. Pancakes were burned, thin, oily, and had an awful smell. I also had a banana shake that was just crushed ice, milk and banana blended. I've been here once in the past and had an omelet that I didn't enjoy either. I decided to give this place another try and it was worse. They weren't busy and I can tell they made the order in a hurry. I will not be returning or recommending to others.
So lively on a Sunday morning. More indoor seating than expected and lots of covered outdoor seating. Friendly staff, interesting decor. The food was well portioned and reasonably priced for the neighborhood. The mango iced tea wasn't too sweet which worked great for me. Definitely a place I would come back to.

Parking: It's a tight residential neighborhood, there's street parking but it's limited and I don't know which streets require a city sticker
Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a step at the front door, but there's also lots of covered outdoor seating

Professionally organized team and delightful food & beverage bar selections. Breakfast House is a wonderful experience of vibrant community and deliciously prepared and presented foods by a highly skilled chef and kitchen staff.
The coffee, latte, and juice were great. Even the served water was so fresh and clean tasting. It's amongst the best waters experienced in a restaurant! There's a teamwork service atmosphere that fosters a stress-free indoor/outdoor dining experience.

7/4/24: Breakfast House has much of what you would expect, and much with a Mexican twist. Our visit was a late morning on a beautiful Sunday, and the wait was 10 minutes. My son had a chorizo hash; my wife had traditional Eggs Benedict, and I had Eggs Benedict with salmon cakes. The Benedicts had tough English muffins, which was somewhat disappointing. The poached eggs and Hollandaise were perfect.
Parking: We easily found parking at local stores, in front on the restaurant and in the neighborhood.

I saw the place driving so I stopped in. It was busy, so they only had bar seating, or there would be a 10-15 minute wait, so I sat at the bar. While sitting at the bar, I noticed a table opened up, so I asked one of the bus boys to ask the host if I could move to a table bc it would be more comfortable for my knees. The host came to me and asked if I had ordered, I said yes, and then she said unfortunately I can't move you since you ordered already. I asked to speak with a manager, bc I could not sit there with my knee injury. When the hostess returned, she was able to move me to a regular table. My overall experience with the food was amazing. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, house potatoes, a pancake, and sausages. All of the food was made to perfection. I would totally come here again. My waitress was awesome and attentive (Blanca), andddddd even the hostess came and checked in on me a couple of times. I appreciate an attentive staff and good customer service ?.

Everyone is so friendly! Fast, efficient service. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of menu options and variety of beverages. My new fave breakfast place!
Parking: I parked about a block and a half away, which is not bad for this area of Chicago. Plus after how much I ate, I needed the exercise! ??
