Now this is partially the company they receive their food from. I will never eat here again. The business that delivers to them will wipe off dates with nail polish and sell them two year expired stuff. The only reason I know is because I was the one doing it. Now it’s kind of a shame, who doesn’t check dates before receiving goods. I would like everyone to know, the sausages the bacon and the croissants you guys have been eating for the last 3 years have all been expired. You can’t blame me because if this restaurant really cared they would check dates but this is another occasion of just going with whatever. Please if you don’t want expired food don’t eat here
Highly recommend the chef’s French toast. It is beautifully presented and so delicious. My server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant has the perfect atmosphere - not crowded with beautiful natural lighting. Will be back.

Food was fine and the wait time for ordering, getting drinks then food was pretty long. I think they were just short handed. Staff were nice.

Came in for a chicken sandwich but their special chorizo hash looked too good. Couldn’t even wait to get a picture before I dug in. Food was outstanding. Service was great. Ordered a Bloody Mary, their regular style (not spicy). It was bland. Would at least order a spicy next time, but bloody Mary’s may not be their speciality. The other cocktails looked great. I will definitely be back soon.

I left my credit card here and the server ran 1.5 blocks to return it to me. Well done and appreciated. Excellent service and food.

Good food. I had the Classic Benedict, I wish I could have gotten tomato slices instead of potatoes or fruit. I'm diabetic. Loved the salt and pepper shakers.

My husband ordered carryout breakfast for us, family and friends while we were in town. Everyone’s food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We will definitely return when we are back in Chicago. Thank you to everyone working at Breakfast House!

The food was really good. A little disappointed they don't have gluten free pancakes or toast. Friendly staff. Nice place but very loud and very hot inside (no AC?)
