Have been here multiple times both during the day and at night never had any issues until last week. A friend and I were walking up to the door where it wasn’t even 11PM, the bar had a decent crowd but WAS NOT packed. When we opened the door the bartender had walked from the bar to the door to say they’re closed, he shut the door in our faces and turned the lights off. Never asked for our IDs. We left because why give a business like that our money? While waiting for our Uber, the lights remained on with other guests being allowed in. No private party or event was going on. The bartender was rude for no reason but from other reviews not the first issue customers have had with him. Loved coming here but looks like I’m not welcomed here.

Came in on a random Wednesday around 1pm and it was nice quiet. The bartender was very helpful when I asked about the menu, I ended up getting the Buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato tots (probably the first time I've seen sweet potato tots on a menu! Loved that) - delicious. The wrap itself came with a small side of yummy coleslaw. I wasn't drinking, but they have a great bottle beer selection as well: Hacker-Pschorr, Red Strip, Stiegl Grapefruit (yes, a fruit beer, lol) & lots more. They of course have some draft selections, but i wasn't paying attention.

I came here after work for a couple drinks with a buddy. I feel like Irish pubs are usually pretty safe bets and Brehon was fine. The front room was super crowded while the back room was extremely rowdy. The yelling around the pool table was just a little much for me at 6 pm on a Wednesday. The drinks were good and the prices were reasonable, but it just wasn’t my vibe.

Absolutely awful experience. My friends and I came in to have some drinks and play pool and Samuel was unbelievably rude. The whole time he was flirting with patrons and would not let us play pool. He gave no reasoning why and was being a jerk without provocation. This city has plenty of pubs with better food, drinks, and more friendly staff so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else instead. Very disappointed since we were excited about Breton Pub. Samuel, do better.
