Cool spot!! My wife and I had a random craving for a juicy (not fast food) burger and decided on BRGRBelly in Portage Park. It was exactly what we had in mind! I got the Rising Sun A thick, tasty juicy burger that was not overpriced, served with waay too many fries! We'll definitely be back. 100% recommend

The burgers are great but I have to take a star off for the fries. We’ve been here twice and had the regular and garlic Parmesan ones and they’re mealy, limp and (for the plain ones) under seasoned. I’m honestly surprised a place that clearly takes so much pride in their burgers serves fries that are practically inedible.

Great neighborhood spot with delicious food and friendly service. Sat on the patio and ordered two different burgers and an order of the Parmesan garlic fries to split with my husband. Food was out very quickly and the place started to fill up. Will definitely return with some craft beer in tow as it is BYOB.

Food is almost perfect. The burgers are cut with pork, and you can definitely tell in the final result, as the flavor is a bit different from almost every other burger in the city. I would pay $1 more if it meant all-beef burgers. Burgers and chicken could definitely use a bit heavier hand on the seasoning to really bring out the flavor, but there's often a lot going on, so it's a minor quibble.
That said, just about everything else is perfect. The garlic parm fries are possibly the best in the city (though they could stand an extra minute in the fryer). The curds, fried pickles, garlic knots, are all really tasty. The burger options also are a big step beyond the average burger place. While the meat isn't the best, the accoutrements are top-notch.
It's got a rock music vibe and service is quick. A fast-casual place with very good prices

I made an Uber Eats order, and asked for no cheese and no onions. Of course, that's what was on there! Now, I'm stuck at work to eat a burger that I find disgusting because of what's on it.

Okay, so I'm not a review-leaving person. But I'm from out of town, needed a quick bite, and saw that this place was close to where I'm staying for the weekend. I kid y'all not, the fries, the burger, even the ranch was incredible. The cookie they included was delicious. The vibe inside was immaculate. Usually I enjoy exploring different food places when I visit an area, but I am seriously considering eating a burger every night while I'm here. Is that a lot of meat? Yes. Will I be thinking about this burger all weekend? Also yes. 10/10 thanks y'all.
