Hands-down, the BEST dinner we've ever had. Our server, Evan, was the absolute sweetest. We loved the elegant but comfy atmosphere and the food, drinks, and desserts were TO DIE FOR!!! ❤️ We fell in love with this place and we will definitely be coming back any time we visit Chicago!

Waiter was snippy when requested my wine to filled. Twice. Forgot our coffee, had to ask a busser. Presented 2 bills - one with coffee, one without. ??‍♀️. Not our first visit but probably our last. ☹️

One of my favorite Chicago eateries. Walking distance from the Moxy. Food is delicious and portions are reasonable.

Brindille is a top-tier French place in Chicago, and a gem in River North. The food is incredible, service impeccable. Perfect date restaurant, and also happens to be in my opinion the best Restaurant Week deal in the city.

The food was delicious, especially the duck dish, and the space was beautiful. Followed by live blues at Blue Chicago for a perfect date night.

Dinner was wonderful! I think Brindille is the best restaurant in Chicago. The food is so creative and innovative, for instance the jelly cubes on the foie mousse that provide a whimsical contrast of texture and flavor. And it’s clear that the chefs are also able to execute the best of timeless French techniques. Treat yourself to Brindille!

First time at this restaurant and we are in “restaurant week” so special menu at $59 USD.The service did not live up to our expectations. Our dishes ; Starter, main course and dessert were served much too quickly. Barely a break between dishes. We had barely finished our main course without having finished our wine when our desserts were served to us, without even being offered coffee or anything else.Consequently, a couple next to us received a service unlike ours, with a much longer time between courses, or even much too long.Otherwise we ate well overall but not enough to go back.

Brindille has an unassuming exterior, right next to a run-of-the-mill Irish pub of some sort, but once you enter inside, you are in the mecca of deliciousness (aka French food). Our first experience with Brindille was top-of-the-class from the get-go, when reservations were made via email. Carrie Nahabegan, the co-owner, and executive chef made sure we had our reservations lined up before we came to visit Chicago. But nothing could prepare us for the delight of dining at Brindille once we stepped through the doors. The staff was extremely friendly, making us feel right at home; wine and drinks exceeded our expectations in every way, but the real star of the evening was the food. I can honestly say that what we had at Brindille in Chicago surpassed all other French restaurants I have been to – including in France! Can’t recommend enough. Thank you for one of the best experiences.

Fantastic food and great service. Overall just a lovely atmosphere. The standout dish for me was the modular duck.

Fantastic food, generous portions considering the price. We loved the wine list ( and the Auxerrois that is still on the menu). Our server (Evan?) was fantastic. This place should be on more lists for places in Chicago. This was my third visit and I will be back.

The most rude waiter I’ve encountered in 30 years of dining around the world. Inhospitable host. (Looks like a younger James Carville - bald with a soul patch.) Food expensive and uneven. Atrocious timing of courses. Highly overrated restaurant. We will never be back and encourage others to stay away.

Hands down the most astonishingly rude waiter I've ever seen in 30 years dining around the world. Dinner for six - my father-in-law had just turned 90, and we were celebrating. Before we even sat down, we were insulted several times. The waiter, who looked a bit like a younger James Carville - bald with a soul patch - pulled out the round table, and when we began to arrange ourselves on the banquette, he commanded my kids to move to different places, then when we were all baffled, he said venomously, "I don't care where you sit," and walked away, throwing his arms in the air. Other diners near us were offered tap or bottled water; we were not. Then, he impatiently barked at us through the order-taking and abandoned us for most of the two plus hour meal. A very kind support waiter who bussed our table was attentive and took additional wine orders and helped with our requests, as we were clearly being ignored. This is an expensive restaurant that purports to be fine dining. Fine French dining means more than good food. It means gracious hospitality. Most of the food was good, not excellent, and the hospitality was non-existent. From the unwelcoming host at the entrance to the shockingly rude waiter. As for the food, most of it was good - not sublime - and many of the dishes were unsuccessful. The timing of the courses was also atrocious. We arrived at 6:30, yet our main courses didn't come until after 8. And sadly, on such a special occasion, our collective experience was ruined by this man's truculence.

I reserved a table for my anniversary and was hoping for something special. We walked in at 8 on a Friday and the restaurant was half full with mostly two tops. The gentleman whom seated us was kind off putting. I kind of feel this a is restaurant frequented by mostly regulars, who they cater to with exuberance. The food was really good but still not worthy of the prices. We started with an amazing foie gras ($45) and a delicious onion tarte. My wife had a fish and I had steak. I ordered it medium rare but it came medium. I would have said something to the waiter but he disappeared and never checked in on us. At this point, we had a $200 bottle of wine and overly expensive food so we passed on dessert. Was really expecting better since we were fans of NaHa.
