Good pop up for Zaragoza birreria on the weekends.
Omg ? I came here and the owner was here, the smell of burn and old oil was so stronger that I have to walk out.
No complaints. Had to get something early morning to watch a game with friends. Got some wings and fries. The cook was very friendly and nice. The food tasted amazing as well.
I've always passed by Broadway Grill & Chicken in Chicago expecting a pleasant surprise. The outside posters of chicken on the grill are drool-worthy. Sadly, when I visited, I found myself a bit disappointed by what I found.Broadway Grill & Chicken is located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. The giant posters of grilled chicken are appealing for those coming out of the Green Mill Lounge next door or waiting in line for a concert at the Rivera Theatre across the street. The interior is a bit rustic yet homey. The service we received is stellar. The menu has a variety of options ranging from diner food & breakfast, Greek, burgers, chicken. The chicken I tried was the quarter chicken (dark) with french fries and mashed potatoes & gravy. My girlfriend ordered the chicken tenders. The food came out fast which raised suspicion of the freshness of the food. The fries were good, yet unseasoned. Mashed potatoes were lacking but the gravy was great. The chicken I received was greasy in some spots and dry in others. I tried my best to drown the chicken in the given hot sauce to make up for the dryness and to add more flavor, yet it didn't overcome the dryness at all.My girlfriend's chicken tenders, though satisfactory, were also a bit dry. Imagine school cafeteria chicken tenders. We took leftovers due to the quantity of food but found the leftovers too hard to finish due to the dryness.2/5. Though I enjoy the service and proximity to Uptown's entertainment district, this place will need to revamp its food quality for us to come back.
I love this place. I probably order about 1-2 x per week. The food is great and the staff is phenomenal! They're really great guys and very professional. I usually get the egg, ham, and cheese sandwich on rye. I have them put lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. It's so good. I highly recommend it or you can get it on French bread too. I love their gyros, cheese sticks, and chicken dinners. I've been coming there since 2015 and I've never experienced other than 5-star service.
Ordered through GrubHub, but my old phone number was accidentally on the order. Tried to call the restaurant but nobody ever picked up for me to correct it. Waited 30 min past the delivery estimate time (90 min total) and had to contact GrubHub to cancel the order and get a refund. Will not try to order from here again.
Great place for breakfast and more!
Surprisingly decent little hole in the wall, friendly staff (just one guy when I was there), reasonable prices. This is basically a short order place that sells a variety of fried foods, but I believe they also sell half chickens. Not a bad place to check out for a quick bite. Seating is limited.
Great place with a simple but delicious menu. Service is good, it's never too crowded here and the food is prepared fairly quickly. It's always clean and there's seating usually available. There is also a TV with the volume set just right so that you can watch TV while still being able to have a conversation.
I love this place...solid griddle food!

Close to the concert venues and a lot of good food for just a couple bucks
Great food as usual. This was my first time dining in and the service was awesome!
great chicken
It was a dark and stormy night...the line at the bar went out to the street. I doubled back to some chicken place I walked past. I was glad I did: hearty chicken and bean soup with sandwich. Your food is made right in front of you, so it might be a bit of a wait, yet worth it. It's got an old style tiled counter with not many seats.
