Came here during happy hour with our dog. Was a little difficult to find the side entrance to the patio but once we were in, great experience. Large tables spaced well so we could keep our dog away from people that might not want to be near one. They even brought out a bowl and a pup cup, which was so nice.Quick service and food was good; I only wish there were more happy hour food options!

The food is amazing here but unfortunately it is not worth eating here. We had a terrible experience with the owner who was looking for a reason to kick out multiple people of our group. The owner kicked out our friends brother over him leaning over a chair and when he tried to confront him about what the problem was, the owner kicked him out. Also according to other customers there was a girl who collapsed and they had taken her outside and just laid her outside the bar until the ambulance came. We spent a good amount of money there and were very respectful but unfortunately it seems like the owner was targeting us for no reason. Please use discretion when going to this bar.

Trash establishment full of trash people. Don't be confused by old reviews, this place is only trash. 1 star is giving too much credit.

Don’t go to this bar - they’ll say it’s full capacity when it’s empty and not let certain people in. Weird vibes. Terrible st pattys vibe.

We made the mistake of smoking a cigarette “not 15 feet away from the entrance” put it out, and 30 seconds later got told to leave. My friend and I went to the bathroom before we left and said goodbye to our friends and the bouncer wearing the glasses was definitely checking out me and my boy’s girth. Not coming back for a while or ever again honestly.

Wow. Bouncers here have egos the size of Germany. Would NOT recommend this establishment.

Honestly terrible experience if you like people bumping you while you eat 24/7 be my guest. Didn’t have most of the cocktails on the menu and also tables are way too close to each other.

It's a fine enough stop. But wasn't my favorite in our neighborhood crawl. felt disorganized trying to get a seat. lots of confusion. prices were meh.

My visit to Broken Barrel Bar was marked by anticipation for a good meal and a lively atmosphere, but unfortunately, it fell short on several fronts. The food, a central aspect of any dining experience, was decidedly average. I opted for the smoked wings, attracted by the promise of chili maple and smoked Chipotle flavors, and the oakwood smoking process. However, the wings lacked the distinctive smoked taste I was looking forward to, which was a letdown.Additionally, I ordered the Mac and cheese with crispy chicken, which turned out to be more of a pulled chicken rather than the crispy delight I expected. The taste was mediocre, failing to leave a memorable impression. The truffle Parmesan fries, however, were a highlight of the meal. While they were tasty, a bit more warmth and crispiness would have significantly enhanced their appeal. A common issue with all the dishes was that they were served cold, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. Despite the generous portions, the quality of the food did not justify the price, leading to disappointment. The ambiance of the bar compounded my dissatisfaction. The space was overcrowded and excessively noisy, making conversation difficult. The proximity of the tables was uncomfortably close, to the point where my back was in constant contact with the person seated behind me. The seating arrangement consisted solely of high chairs without back support, further diminishing the comfort of my visit. In summary, my experience at Broken Barrel Bar was underwhelming. While the concept and menu items seemed promising, the execution in both the culinary and atmosphere departments left much to be desired. The combination of average food, uncomfortable seating, and a less than ideal dining environment means that I am unlikely to return. For those seeking a vibrant sports bar experience, it may still be worth a visit, but manage your expectations regarding comfort and culinary delight.

I would absolutely recommend broken barrel! The atmosphere is so fun and staff are so helpful. The only drawback is that on weekends they don't serve their regular menu until 3:30. But I absolutely love their veggie naan wrap. It is so unique and delicious! The sweet potato fries are also killer and can come with three dipping sauces!! Drinks do not disappoint either. I also cannot recommend the Tuesday specials enough as well. Margarita and taco deals and they do trivia. Super fun atmosphere for Notre Dame Games as well!!

Tried to plan a birthday party here and apparently they don't want our business. Their website says they're walk in, but that large parties can be reserved by contract.I submitted 2 inquiries online, asked their google chat bot, emailed them, and called and left a message with a live person for someone to call me back...and they never returned my call.Oh well, guess we'll go somewhere else and spend our money.

Great staff and atmosphere. Food and drinks are very pricey and they are stingy about splitting your tabs up. Other than that, Broken Barrel is a great place to bring family or friends for a good meal. Better yet, it is one of the best spots to bring a group of friends to watch a sports game.
