I love the food and atmosphere here, and service was good. However, I brought a visitor, from out of town and the music way too loud, getting in the way of conversation.

This is a great place with a great vibe. The tacos were great, although the shrimp were a little under season and underwhelming. But will definitely go here for a great bite and good cocktails.

This place has a nice vibe. The staff was very nice & friendly. The menu is small. The guacamole was delicious, chips were on the well done side but tasty. Tacos were really good. Make sure you review your bill, we were charged for something we didn't order but the waitress kindly removed it for us.

Shane did an excellent job taking care of our needs and suggesting many items. Food was delicious and service excellent!

The tacos, margaritas, chips and salsa were amazing. The service was generally good. The atmosphere was absolutely terrible ~ super loud, boisterous, and very, very warm...so warm that I was literally sweating inside after about 20 minutes. Maybe I'll go back in the winter, or maybe something was wrong with the AC on this July evening.

Great happy hour. Really good margaritas and the nachos are great and filling especially for the price.

Emilio took SUCH good care of us! Very efficient service and delicious food. Totally recommend!!

Highly recommend Broken English Taco Pub. Vibe was funky and fun - and the food was even better! Both the red and green salsas, the elote, and the six 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 tacos we split (carne asada, chicken al pastor, carnitas, brisket, cod, and fried chicken with ghost pepper mayo) were all delicious... and saying Yes to the chocolate-filled churros with caramel dulce de leche ice cream was a great call too!

We randomly decided to try this place and it was great. Easy and casual, quick, cool interior, and delicious nachos and tacos. We bought kids and it was fine on a Friday at 5:30. Relatively inexpensive too when we hit that happy hour with $6 nacho mamas nachos, $6 margaritas. Two tacos around $10. Couldn't beat it.

Broken English Taco Pub is one of our favorite spots in Chicago! Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere and service! Don't skip the chips and guac! The tacos are AMAZING - highly recommend the brisket and fried chicken tacos! The drinks are also great, including the bottomless mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays.

This was the first time here for me and my friend. We got in easily at 4:30. Started to fill up around 5 on a Friday. Our server was very friendly and we never felt rushed. The food came quickly and was delicious. We had the pineapple guacamole pork and steak tacos. So good! We also got margaritas for Happy Hour. I think the prices were fair. $50 for two people. We'd definitely come back again!

i like the mango margarita with tajin on the rim or mango fresca for n/a and my favorite tacos are the carne asada, brisket and ay papasito. 3 very different options. carne is the classic tiny pieces of steak with a generous amount of onion and cilantro on corn. the brisket comes on a flour tortilla with pickled onion, carrot and a jalapeño slice or two. the ay papasito is a fried purple potato small taco and pickled cabbage topped with cheese

Food was good and margaritas were flavorful. There are multiple tvs for sports viewing. The music made conversation a little difficult.

Most of the tacos were sooooo good. My husband was raving about the cod tacos. I had the brisket and vegetable tacos and they were both great! The potato one was just ok. Our server was nice. Service was a little slow at the time bc they were slammed. The decor is a feast for the eyes with something to look at anywhere they land. THE CHURRO SUNDAE is killer and apparently changes seasonally.
