Attended a birthday party there. Cute place, nicely arranged for seating and DJ space. Dance floor is adequate but ventilation could be better. Nice room in back for food display and bar. I would rent it for a small event.

Great location, owner goes out of his way, and the space is unique in a nice way. I've hosted two of my small dancing events at the BCC House. I'm now planning on hosting a larger event. It does "feel like home" but actually it's a good space to create many different vibes. If you are looking for a event space in Bronzeville, check it out. I'm shocked that the other two reviews were so negative, the other reviews are mostly all positive. I'm glad I didn't see them before knowing about this location.

Thank you Mr. Cooke for the amazing service on yesterday. Alia's surprise Master Degree party was a huge hit. She loved it. Your facility was clean. Had every single thing I needed and the backyard was a bonus. I will be using you again. He is a class act. 5 Star facility for sure.

do not use this facility! i wouldn't have a dead rat's repast here. the owner is a nut. he acts as if he's two people. had a birthday dinner/party here, paid my money in advance, and tried to support a black business and shot myself in the foot. my event planner asked him directly if she could leave her rental equipment there due to the timing of my event from 9pm-1am..told her yes, come back in the morning to get it. i only knew this because my friend witnessed him tell her this as she dropped off food earlier that day. i had no knowledge of this until 1am and he told me to call my planner and she stated the exact thing my friend told me, which was to come back in the morning. he told me to tell her, her things would be put outside if she didnt come back and get them. then tells me he have a contract with me, but i cant control what you tell someone else unknowingly. he stayed lurking the entire party! no privacy, just creep vibes the whole time. he even touched multiple female family members rubbing on their backs, staring at their breast, and her boyfriend had to step in. we thought giving him a plate he would scat, but no, he kept being a pest! for him to have a nice facility, he's mentally ill and people don't deserve that type of stress or bugging up when having events. don't spend your money with the nutty professor or uncle fester (or whoever he is when you encounter him). very ignorant and unprofessional how he handled everything!!!! he needs professional help fast! people dont play about their money....
