Very good old American Italian restaurant. All of their sauce is delicous so you can go ahead and try any pasta and it will be wonderful. They have a decent collection of wines. Dessert is delicous especially the tiramisu cake. Dont expect it to have a fancy ambience. But during summer they have outisde set up and that looks pretty good. I have been there many times and would keep going back. Chicken parmesan, mussels , sea food pasta or just a regular penne pasta with marinara...
I would say not all their dishes are good. I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo dish, which is excellent, and it takes a longer time to make than the other dishes. They have some special items every day listed on the board, and we ordered pizza. It is very tasty. Their salmon and ravioli are okay, but both linguine dishes that we ordered are just moderate. The staff who serve us, is friendly and attentive. This is a casual environment restaurant with reasonable price.
Amazing food, just like having Nonna in the kitchen. Hands down the best Italian I've had. There is a reason it's been there since 1933! An absolute must, the lasagna and Veal Saltimbocca Alla Romana are my favorites. I will keep coming back.
