We went to this restaurant before, when it was smaller place, we liked it, we came back and found that is a bigger and nicer place now good to have a drink or have a good Guatemalan food or antojitos (snacks) or apetizers, I had hilachas wich is sheared beef, with carrots and potatoes stew in a típical seasoned Guatemalan sauce, it was delicious, my wife had a chiles rellenos there were good as well

Bryanna’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Milton is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great Guatemalan food. Must come back. 10/10.
We have eaten here many times in the past. Food was always excellent, but this day service, and food was definitely not what we expected. We both ordered Carne asada...it took forever for our meal to come, and there were no other diners. When our meal finally came, the carne asada was very tough and grissly, and had no taste...no seasoning, and very thick.
We were very disappointed, since we have always enjoyed our experience, and food there in the past.

Stopped by BryAnna’s for dinner and had the Pepián de Pollo with rice and tortillas—rich, flavorful, and comforting. The horchata was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly. Only downside was the wait time was a bit longer than expected, but the food made up for it. Definitely a spot worth checking out for authentic Guatemalan cuisine

Pulled up to BryAnna’s for dinner and was honestly impressed. Got the pepián de pollo with rice and tortillas, plus a horchata—came out to about $22. The stew was rich and flavorful, real home-cooked vibe. Horchata was solid too. Only knock is the wait was kinda long, even tho it wasn’t packed. But the food made up for it. Cool little Guatemalan spot worth checking out.

I dont know what to say man, I had quite high expectations. Everything about this place is a no - the food would be decent if I didnt find hair on the food. The server is really mean and rude, I dont think serving attitude because you are tired is acceptable. NEVER AGAIN. Shoulda seen the reviews before going.

As someone who truly loves and appreciates well-prepared oxtails, I was excited to find Bryanna’s Restaurant while in Chicago. I'm always on the hunt for tender, flavorful oxtails—meat that falls off the bone with rich, seasoned gravy. Briana’s had solid reviews and boasted Guatemalan and Salvadoran traditional cuisine, so I was hopeful and eager to try it.
I ordered the oxtails, which were served with steamed cabbage, rice, and sweet potato yams, along with a vegetarian pupusa filled with zucchini and cheese. Let me start by saying—the pupusa was the highlight of the meal. It was warm, cheesy, and had a nice balance of flavor and texture.
Now, the oxtails... as a self-proclaimed oxtail connoisseur, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. What I received was far from acceptable for the price I paid: just three small bones with a few shreds of meat, mostly gristle, and minimal substance. The flavor wasn’t memorable, and it certainly didn’t deliver on the rich, spiced experience I was hoping for based on the restaurant’s theme and reviews.
The sides were just okay—nothing special or particularly worth mentioning. For a place that shows promise with cultural authenticity, the portion size and quality of the oxtail dish fell well below standard. I’ll be disputing this charge through my credit card company due to how unsatisfactory it was.
In all fairness, the pupusa saved this from being a one-star review, but overall, I can only give Bryanna’s two stars. Disappointed, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
