Hit up Buena Vista last weekend with the crew—family-run spot in Lakeview, BYOB, super chill vibes. We grabbed the mini chimis, chilaquiles, steak tacos and a couple of nachos. Threw back a six-pack from the liquor store next door. Tab was around $28 before tip—pretty fair. Food’s legit, portions are solid, just wish the queso was a bit hotter. Definitely worth a return visit.
Underwhelming. Chicken was dry, rice and beans were not flavorful. Barely any nachos and almost no beef on the nachos. Sadly wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. Which is disappointing because it's family owned and close by.

This spot is great for authentic Mexican food at a great price. ALSO big highlight is taco Tuesday - where they have a bunch of varieties of tacos for just $2-3 each!
They give you tons of chips and salsa - their salsas are sooo delicious. I can't recommend enough. Also BYOB - great place to bring a bottle of wine or canned marg!
