Buffet City/Cajun Seafood Boil

I've been to a HANDFUL of Chinese buffets for years and the food from this Chinese buffet in particular was actually so good! :) the quality of the food? excellent. the flavors, the texture of the food (especially if you arrive in the early evening) is very much fresh. i must admit, it would be lovely if their dessert section could have some authentic Chinese and/or Asian desserts though because Asians desserts truly are such a delight 🤌🏻

oh, and the staff/employees? incredibly kind and friendly, man, God bless these people and their business. i wish they were in a safer area for the sake of the safety of the employees, owner and overall buffet. from a 0 to 5 five stars this place is a 5.9

Lots of variety of foods. I love that they have crab legs. Food is good! I come here all the time. I think it is the best Chinese buffet among all the buffet restaurants in the area.

The staff is so disrespectful to me as well as the customers that come here. I KNOW THIS LOCATION WILL CLOSE SOON. There are hardly any people here anymore, and there are better buffets around the area. I want this location to close because the service and food is so bad. The food tastes like it has been in a refrigerator for a couple days and got heated in a microwave. So many better buffets available. Shiki buffet just opened on 47th and Kedzie and everything is so much better there. This buffet should close.

I had a disappointing experience at Buffet City. The food quality was subpar, with many dishes lacking flavor and freshness. The service was also lacking; the staff seemed inattentive and the restaurant was not well-maintained. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place based on my visit.

The placed look ok could have been a little cleaner. The food was the worst, gave me a stomach ache and before I could make it to the car I throw up. Would not recommend at all. Not worth $24 per person not even worth $10 person.

I'm never coming to this place again. This place should be closed down because today I went with my family to eat here and when we were going to sit in one of the tables there was a roach, and then my husband saw a fly around the cakes and cookies.
