Recently hired Bumba Roux to cater a private event and all I can say is WOW! The experience was awesome, they had everything figured out and an amazing menu. My guests are still raving how good it all was, so thank you again to the whole team!
Had Gumbo and Peanut flies at Sketchbook brewery in Skokie. Both were excellent, gumbo full of traditional ingredients and flavors. The fries are a fun take on the traditional poutine theme. We liked these better than the classic poutine.
Fantastic Cuban in a hat tip to the truck being outside of Musicbox Theater for the movie Chef. Also tried the the gumbo which was equally as delicious and just like the movie, will be following along on social to catch you when I’m in the area next!
