Ate here for the first time, as it was highly recommended. Place was awful. Burger was a frozen Costco patty and fries were freezer burnt. Five guys prices so a waste of money. Culvers kids meal is cheaper and better

It was my first time going there, and it was phenomenal! The steal sandwich ?- the grilled onions were grilled perfectly, and the steak was on point!

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. They are unhygenic, it was a white male about 5’6 built had an attitude the whole time , would not refund me after purposely tampering with my soup. I honestly hope this place get shut down. PLEASE DONT EVER EAT HERE.

Burger Baron is the real deal. Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed the 1/2 lb. Baron Cheeseburger with a side of crispy fries. The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked high with fresh toppings. Fries were golden and not greasy, just the way I like 'em. Service was quick and friendly, and the place had that classic, no-frills diner vibe. If you're craving a solid, old-school burger in the West Town area, this is the spot.

We had breakfast. Portions are huge, the prices are moderate, service was great and the food was delicious.

OVERPRICED, cashier doesn’t listen to you when you order and then gives you attitude when you ask why your ENTIRE ORDER is wrong. Asked for no tomatoes, got tomatoes. Asked for a lemonade and got a coke, asked for fries paid $20 and then got no fries and told I didn’t order them. Save your money and go to literally anywhere else 0/0

Their food is delicious, the restaurant is sparkling clean, prices are reasonable, but most of all the staff treats you like FAMILY. Really killer breakfast in addition to all the Chicago eats you’ll ever need. Be sure to get a delicious ice cream for desert!

I ordered 2 gyros plates one with fries one with rice and potatoes. Food was ICE cold , fries tasted like they were from yesterday and the potato (yes one potato) was nearly burnt on the bottom!!! Disgusting and disappointing for 40.00!!! Needless to say I won’t be getting food from there anytime soon

In the very competitive fast food industry, restauranteurs must find their niche. What can they sell? Who can they sell it to? Should they specialize? Hot dogs? Burgers? Pizza? Everyone is looking for their niche. Apparently the folks at Burger Baron have found theirs. Located at 1381 West Grand Avenue, west of Ogden, in the West Town/West Loop neighborhoods, this family-owned and operated restaurant has been in business since 1981. They satisfy customers with dozens of breakfast items, hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches in a counter-serve setting. I ordered a 1/2-pound patty melt with caramelized onions, a ground beef patty and melted Swiss cheese on marbled rye and a Philly Cheesesteak with melted cheese and tender slices of steak on French bread. With French fries and a chocolate milk shake. I ate the patty melt on the way home and warmed the cheesesteak in the microwave at home, in time to watch the baseball game. Burger Baron is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
