Service is fantastic. Drinks great! First time having a Federation burger, it was great! The music could be played a little quieter. And it’s small so just know that. Otherwise, a great spot in the airport on the way to your destination

I've been to this place several times when I fly through Chicago and their food is great but I just had the worst experience. There was limited seating available so we ordered our food to go. Waited about 5 minutes for our order and some tables opened up. There was space for 8 people to sit and eat. My partner and I sat at a table for two and the cashier says we cannot dine in because our order was to go. RIDICULOUS! Rude service and I will not be back here nor recommend this place to coworkers.

Extremely rude behavior. Calling your customers cheap people is as classy as this place is itself. I’d rather be hungry than deal with this kind of behavior. Avoid at all places. Cant imagine any employer being happy with this woman representing their business. What a shame.

While ordering classic hot dogs ($30), the cashier (older Hispanic woman white hair) misheard me and my family and entered the cost of two classic burgers ($40). While realizing this error or potential misunderstanding at the register (before paying), we let her know. At first she refused to alter the order stating that we could either pay or leave. Taken aback, we requested again that the hot dog order go through. She said she would let us pay ($36) for the current burger order. Of course, this was not a resolution we wanted. She began to call us, “cheap people” and throw a black briefcase against the wall in a loud aggressive manner that attracted the attention of everyone eating. At this point my family walked away and I stayed and requested the restaurant manager to which a younger male cashier stated he could not get in touch with the manager. It was a really ugly and avoidable scene that should have been handled in a different and more professional manner.

We have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. Apparently they close at 8 pm on Saturday nights. We were told they were no longer waiting tables but could order at the register. We did and went up to the counter when the food was ready. There were diners eating at tables so we sat down to quickly eat. The extremely rude old woman at the counter came over to us and loudly screamed to get out. We were getting condiments for our fries and sandwiches. Other patrons who were already eating were also told to get out. Unbelievable! Sadly at that part of the airport gates L 20 to 24 the only other option is Starbucks. The good was very good. Time to hire a new counter person who treats people with respect.

I ordered a BLT Burger with fries. The burger was juicy and succulent, and the bread was soft and buttery. The toppings were generous with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and caramelized onions. The fries were cooked to crispy perfection with a bit of parmesan cheese. I was in heaven.

Waste our time and energy but this is the only restaurant available at this corner of the airport. If there is even another one, and if Starbucks sells even a sandwich here, we wouldn’t spend our single penny on this. We were simply ignored by this woman who never even looked at us for the whole 30mins we sat there, and she was doing everything like a slow motion movie. How ridiculous!

Very unpleasant experience! They had us wait for 20 minutes and didn't even come to serve us. The waiter helped people who came after us while looking at our table and leaving. We ended up ordering takeout and the food was below average and very expensive. Never again!

Bought the blt burger. Noticed the burger they gave me didn't have bacon or onions. When I took the burger back, they said they were out of those ingredients and couldn't give me a refund until the boss came back in 30 minutes. So I paid almost $20 for a subpar cheeseburger.

I had a truly disappointing experience here due to the behavior of one of the staff members, Timberly (the woman wearing a mask in the photo). I asked a calm, simple question — whether they had gluten-free buns and if they were available during breakfast. Instead of receiving a clear answer, I was met with open hostility.
Timberly was shockingly rude, raising her voice and speaking to me in a condescending tone over what should’ve been a routine inquiry. It turns out they do offer gluten-free buns, but only during lunch. That’s fine — but there is absolutely no excuse for the way she chose to speak to a customer who was simply trying to understand their options.
This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on management. It left me feeling uncomfortable and frankly unwelcome. If you’re someone who expects basic courtesy when asking about dietary needs, I’d suggest being cautious — or at least hoping Timberly isn’t on shift.
