I'm not sure what happened but I landed in this strange kingdom you call Burger while on my way to my local tavern, the Vermillion Minotaur. At first I was disturbed by the lack of spiced potatoes and smoked tea on the menu, not to mention that the King was away. But I appreciate that they also serve Goblins on Sunday which is certainly a redeeming factor.

Friendly staff, so it's not that. Always, very disappointing food; every location, every time. So maybe it's my fault, I should know better by now. Not sure what exactly the problem is, just bland and flat. I keep hoping for something better. Not so far.

Honestly, this place is often my goto for a change of pace from McD's or 7-Eleven -- as such, the food is neither great or bad ... just BK --- but importantly, BK has regressed to again allowing its franchises set their own hours ... which means that they often open late or close early --- with no notice or dependability.The issue is more that their posted hours may or may not be valid or followed (so why post them?) They seem to open and close on a whim so you never know if it is worth the walk or bike ride.When it is open for breakfast, the food and service are as expected, but you never know when or if they are open until you try the door. This am, for instance, they were still not open at 8 am -- a full hour after the posted opening ??♂️ ... This has been happening all the time recently.So the 2 stars is for undependable, inconsistent service. Imagine if they came to your shop and had to wait outside for you to decide when and if you were opening that day... I'm pretty sure they would complain. ??♂️

Burger King worker stole my food for themselves. After confirming and making the order they denied multiple Uber eats drivers from picking it up less than 15 minutes after confirming and making it. Keep in mind it was over half an hour before they closed claiming they have nothing. Minimum wage never deserves to be $15 for these kids.

Went for bicycle ride, stopped in for something to eat.Bicycle rack right in front, place was not crowded. 1 problem, they had no orange soda, then I Asked for Hi C orange, didn't have,so I thought 7up still citrus family. Nope! So finally got coke!

Now granted the price for a whopper with cheese meal is like $11....but it was delicious just like I remembered! I hope this isn't one of the BK's that's closing because of filing bankruptcy.Our whoppers were flame broiled of course with cheese no ketchup. Mannnn it was a taste of nostalgia! The fries were hot, fresh and salted well but not too salty. They carry Strawberry Fanta too yayyyyy!!! It was just what I remembered eating as a child! This is a good BK!!! They were busy because people know!! The women's washroom was amazingly immaculate too!!! Great Customer service on the drive thru around 11:15ish today!She had a great attitude!! Keep it up BK on Irving Park!!!

I visited Burger King at Irving and Clark about May 10th, 2023. I had the BK Royal Swiss and Bacon chicken sandwich, fries and a chocolate shake. My husband had the beef Whopper meal, which came with fries and a soda. We ended up paying about $10 for the Whopper meal, when it should have only been $5 with the online coupon. This, however, is not at the entire fault of the establishment. My husband, who is 74 and not up to date with technology and clipping coupons off of a phone, could not access the coupon on his cell phone. We searched and ended up holding up the line for like 10 minutes trying to find the $5 Whopper coupon. We had the store manager look for it to, and couldn't find it. Maybe there are some funny things going on with his phone but.. the point is, they should make the coupons available in the store. Searching for coupons on a phone isn't fair to senior citizens who may not have a phone or not be tech savvy. The BK Royal Swiss sandwich which I had was disappointing. Not in flavor, but in terms of overall quality, so I give that sandwhich 3 stars. It was kind of flat and the the chicken patty very thin, something you'd find off the dollar menu at McDonald's. Definitely not worth the $6.79 I paid for. The fries and the chocolate shake were excellent however, and the fries were perfectly salted and fried. The customer service was also very good, and the employees kind enough to bring our meal to the table (we walk with walkers, so this was a kind courteousy they did for us). So for that, (the fries, shake and good customer service), I give this restaurant acculmative four stars. The BK royal Swiss sandwich was kind of sad, but the rest of the food, whopper meal and their customer service was very good.....
