I had an extremely unprofessional experience at this Burger King (7222 S Stony Island Ave) on February 5, 2026 at approximately 9:55 PM.

I entered the drive-thru, which has only one entrance and no way to exit once you’re in line. When I pulled up to the speaker, the employee said something unclear. When I asked for clarification, I was told it was a “shift change.” That is understandable, but what is not acceptable is allowing customers to enter the drive-thru if no service is being provided.

I asked if someone could assist with allowing cars to exit since we were stuck. Instead, I was told no one was moving because of DoorDash orders, while also being told it was a shift change. This lack of organization and communication left customers trapped in line with no service, no food, and no resolution.

What made the situation worse was the attitude. Instead of offering help or solutions, staff responded with dismissive and unprofessional remarks.

Shift changes are internal operational matters and should never impact customers to this degree. Customers should never be allowed to enter a drive-thru if service is unavailable, especially when there is no exit.

I have already filed a formal complaint with Burger King Corporate regarding this location. This experience reflects poor management, lack of operational control, and unacceptable customer service.

I hope the franchise owner and corporate leadership address this seriously to prevent this from happening to others.

Ordered from them off uber eats on Jan 31 st around 1:40 ish. Food got to mel ate it and I caught food poisoning. I ordered a jr whopper, a Oreo milkshake, and fries. I started throwing a couple of hours later. I threw up the burger, the shake, and the fries To. Threw up on the side of my bed about 3 times and I threw up in the bathroom almost 6 times i definitely counted. My back was on fire and my stomach was killing me I had nausea for almost 3 days. Please don't get nothing from this location I would not recommend it at all whatsoever.

They were unable to take my order through the drive-thru as they were changing shifts that could be understandable but not my deformed bread I had received badly defected bread Elsa the workers didn't tell me nothing negative but they do stand around and stare at you instead of asking you how may I help you while talking to each other was not crowded to have excuse for poor service was very upset especially having been craving a Whopper for a while now

This location is terrible (7222 s Stony). Either they're always out of something or the registers are messed up and only take cash. Literally, it's always something off with them.
