Don't change the tradional greek chicken . Why ?!? The cream of chicken rice was spot on . The Greek chicken was a disappointment. 17 bucks for a thin tiny piece of chicken half a cup of Palif rice and half a plate of salad no feta no black olives no Greek potatoes! Stop changing tradition or you'll Lose sight of what makes a Greek diner right. .

Great pancakes and waffles, good good all around, but the prices have been raised drastically in the past few years (over and above what America's admittedly wild inflation would require). Looking at the menu pictures posted to the Google listing from 3 years ago, prices are more than 50% higher! I've posted updated (August 2025) menu photos.

GREAT food & service. It's pretty warm in there so sit under the ceiling fans. It was also a little too pricey. Burger & Coke was twenty bucks. On the upside, the Burgundy Burger on Rye is delicious.

I am from Columbus, GA. My service animal and I are visiting a friend in Chi-Town! I had my mind set on finding a place that served grits but am so glad I relented to trying The Burgundy Restaurant. The establishment had such a homey feel. The patrons were super friendly! Louis, a server, cashier, a 1 Person Show Stopper was very attentive to us. She is an awesome server! I ordered the country ham skillet with added spinach. I said that I would only eat half of my order so that I could try the other half later @ home with the mozzarella cheese. I didn’t make it out with a to go box. This place is certainly a hidden gem!!!!! When I visit again this will be my go to breakfast!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This place is amazing! The BEST club sandwich I think I’ve ever eaten. Excellent diner vibes! Great service! I will be back! Ask for Sabrina!!! The chef is stellar. Not only with the club tall as hell the fries were amazing. Kudos!!!

Service was not great at all kinda rude and short. No drinks until they came after ten minutes to take our order. Food wasn't hot and ham/bacon and corn beef hash tasted gamey. Not worth it at all
