A must-see bar during the winter months! Butch McGuire's was an amazing midday stop for us while walking around the streets of Chicago. The Christmas decorations made the place stand out and is worth stopping in for just a drink or two or the whole night! We didn't have any food, but the food we saw looked delicious. You can't beat a bar that goes over the top for an amazing atmosphere, and the workers were polite in every way. Highly recommend!

Picked this place when we came from out of town. Totally surprised at the quality of the food. My friends had a Rueben, patty melt, and chicken sandwich. All were really great. And the fries!!! Fresh hand cut!! Staff was great and the decor was so so festive and fun! Really enjoyed it and plan to go back for a Guinness on tap.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, but the waitress was horrible, never came around, had to flag her down, and had to ask someone else for the bill. Also margaretas sucked

Rolled into Butch McGuire’s on Division and dropped about $55 on a classic cheeseburger, a half‑dozen buffalo wings, and loaded waffle fries, plus a couple beers. Food’s hearty and portions are solid, burger was juicy, fries hit. But it’s loud and the bar crowd can feel crowded early. Still, great pub vibes if you’re feelin’ the Rowdy Gold Coast energy.
