I've been traveling to chicago for work recently and have visited several neighborhoods. In my opinion, this is hands down the best bar in chicago. Excellent food, outstanding service. Big shoutout to ducky and Dave, great service.

I tried this place on St. Patrick’s Day and they have very good food especially their breakfast is very good however, one time when my mom tried to bring her service dog in here, they would not allow her to bring in her service dog, which is against federal law. they have toallow service dog under, all circumstances and the one thing that I did not like about this place is when we walked in, we put down our name on the waitlist for a table for the guy who was taking down the names said that the wait would be 30 minutes and after 30 minutes was up we checked in to see how much longer it would be and then the guy told us it could be up to five minutes or up to an hour can’t only a 30 minute wait and them longer

the bar is just the kind of place you want to hang out on st paddy’s. it was $20 cash cover charge at the door, but they did not limit how many people were in the bar based on that; the entire place was extremelycrowded. which was to be expected. the drinks were great. the bathrooms were not up to par in my opinion; in the women’s restroom you can see into the stalls because the stall doors are only 3-4 feet tall so that is really uncomfortable. and in such a crowded bar, there was a sizable line for the bathroom. all in all, i wish they would have limited more the number of people that they let in at one time. it was better earlier in the day. but again, it was expected on the holiday.

Amazing service the server was so friendly. the food was amazing too totally Reccomend the quesadilla as an app or a full meal. It’s a cute place to take pictures, especially for st.patty day. Hands down best bar+resturant I went to when visiting Chicago.

This is a pretty solid choice for food and drink. We were there for lunch and the food was good and atmosphere aided by pretty interesting decor. Don't expect them to get a Michelin star any time ever, but if you're looking for a quick bite and a beer, this is a very reasonable option.
As an outcast from the Lodge, I was looking for an away home. Pre Uber, the seven digits as one number or the help of our barkeeps was of no suceess. As fate abounds, the love of my life gave me a wink. I played along. Learned a lot about her. High heels. Sore feet. 13 years. Happy.

Great Irish pub with lots to look at. Food was on point as well. The Rueben sliders were as good as the best Ruebens I’ve ever tasted and the Chicago dogs were thick and tasty. Definitely be back to Butch McGuire’s!
