Tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken for the first time today and it was really good. The chicken was fresh, had good flavor, and the spice was solid. Big plus that they’re certified Zabiha halal. Definitely worth checking out.

Everything was great except the chicken in my chicken sandwich was the size of a single chicken finger. It was cooked well but would have looked more at home on a hot dog bun than the very good round bun it was presented on. Shrinkflation I guess.

Went with a small group of friends from the office. 4 orders took over 30 minutes to complete. I get that the food is made to order, but several customers after our group all received their orders before ours. Nothing crazy about any of our orders, wings, and tenders. 15 minutes would be expected, but not a 30 minute wait. Doubt we will be coming back.

A much needed new lunch spot in the area. Good food and friendly staff. One thing I would recommend is including a choice of coleslaw instead of potato salad as a combo side. Right now the sides are too potato heavy.
10/22/25 Updated Review I'm lowering my rating to 3 stars because when I ordered the tender combo I noticed the size of the tender decreased a lot. And the fries were cold, under cooked and under seasoned. Very disappointed since this used to be a favorite lunch spot for me.

Very good food, and great service. I definitely recommend! The bryd bomb was delicious, I've also had the hot chicken sandwich and the donut chicken sandwich! I'll definitely be coming back to this location
