Cramped and crowded, but great service and decent wine.

Truly for the wine nerds. Really fun and unique wine list. Missed opportunity not having outside seating at the bar. This is a separate concept from the place next door which. Good Funk does not have any outdoor seating.
Awful experience! Stopped by for drink and we didn’t care for wine. We politely said, not our fave Happy to pay for it, but would like what we enjoy. He was so offended and mad. Throwing his arms up and dumping it out. He’s like fine. You don’t have to pay for it. He was so angry and making a scene.
Someone else came over and we said, So sorry we didn’t like the glass of wine and we still left money for it. But the server was still carrying on and so offended we didn’t like it. He was challenging us and angry! What does he care. We were still paying, give us what we want. Have been to several high end establishments in the city. We would never get this kind of reaction. Maybe that’s the problem, not so high end. Very awful and strange behavior getting scolded by a bartender!!!
Once again, even after his awful behavior, we left money. Went to another place and of course great service. It was honestly one of the most strange and bad service experiences
I cannot imagine a better wine bar for natural wine. Know how to describe what you are looking for before asking the bartender for a recommendation. They are probably too busy to walk you through the offerings.

Sommelier visiting from Austin, TX. Compelling wine program - cannot deny. Service severely lacks warmth. I felt like a massive inconvenience, despite ordering the most expensive flight on the menu. Staff was completely uninviting and bordered on rude. Not sure what I did wrong. Wanted to say something better because this really does have the bones of a great spot. Just lacks hospitality.

My first taste of orange wine which was delicious and a great evening spent in Chicago on a day when Pope elected was from Chicago as well. Great vibe and friendly staff.

We came here for a drinks before dinner, Erin was great. We will be back.
Good option for natural wines. Enjoyed my skin contact flight and staff was very knowledgeable about the wines.
Not a wine bar. Tried to order a bottle of Champagne, bartender looked annoyed and asked incredulously, “you want a bottle?!” He then disappeared frantically looking for the bottle before telling me they didn’t have it. There were only two other champagnes on the wine list, one was a magnum, the other a rosé. I chose a white wine at half the price of the champagne I wanted. Bartender took a while to find that one too. He served me my first glass and then a second employee shows up behind the bar with the champagne I originally ordered to show the bartender that they did in fact have it. Bartender shooed him away because he didn’t want me to see it. The white wine I ordered was great and at that point I was so annoyed I was happy to spend less at such a laughable establishment. The food was good not great. Atmosphere is lovely and decor is impeccable, but I was sent here by a wine content creator, which is a good reminder that anyone can make content.

Loved the selection of wine
Unmitigated good times. Killer list, cool staff, and a good crowd in there.
Just your regular wine bar. Okay selection of wines. It was a lil hot inside, maybe need to improve the ventilation?

Got dropped off two hours before close just to sit at the bar and watch the bar tender tidy some bottles and then disappear into the back and not return in 10 minutes. From pictures and the menu it looked like it would be a fun place but no return trip needed.
Loved the wine and the atmosphere. Excited to go back
