I just ate from this establishment and Anton was very helpful, knowledgeable, entertaining, accommodating, and professional with his patrons. He explained everything we asked about, prices were fair. I had a Caffe Americano and apparently the last glazed donut and it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely return for another cup and a bite! If you're in Humboldt Park then take a quick drive further down North Ave and check his shop out!

Fantastic little place! Cute little store with a nice back area that's removed from the counter and the street. The iced mocha I got was soooo much better than the same item I got from *bucks the day before, and partner loved her chai. The guy at the counter (I think he was the owner?) was super friendly and chatted with everybody about whatever. I love that they use their space for story time too.
One of the only shops that have good coffee tea and snacks and is not crowded. The owner is super cool. Good vibe, very comfortable 10 out of 10.

The service here is excellent. Very knowledgeable about catering to your needs on the various selections. Beautiful and very peaceful environment. The music is amazing, they have books, board games, and very beautiful art here. I will definitely come back very soon. Lastly but not least i tried the Cafe Con Leche which was very flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors. If you have a minute or two get here before 2pm you won't be disappointed.

We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Out first morning we came in when it was pretty busy. We got our order to go and it was ready quickly despite the fact that it was only the owner behind the counter. The next morning he even remembered our order the day before! I could tell he cares about his regulars, the building, and his business. Wish we could make this our regular coffee shop!
