This is a GO TO place for me. The food is almost without fail of the highest quality. Both the greek yogurt and the soups are outstanding. The pizzetta is very good.. A warmed up huge chocolate chip a day, keeps a smile on your face. To top this off is the best coffee and tea deal in the world, the coffee club.....do yourself a favor, inquire about this coffee club deal. Inflation, WHAT INFLATION? I call this DEFLATION!! The coffee, La colombe brand, is well known as a top brand and superb, and the incredible steeped loose leaf green tea is super satisfying to the toungue and just the right temperature. Take that Starbucks!! After the experience at Sophie's you will never go back to your old coffee haunt!

A nice place to have coffee and something to eat for breakfast. Not a very large place but the service is nice. Very clean and the bacon is great. You can order breakfast sandwiches, eggs and avocado toast. If you are in a hurry, this is the place to go.
Cafe Sophie is a charming corner cafe, ideal for a casual lunch or coffee date with a friend. While prices are on the higher side, the friendly staff and quick service make it worthwhile. Plus, the cafe's charming ambiance adds to its appeal. Unfortunately, the coffee was not so good. But overall, I would visit again for a quick bite if in the area.

The salad and wood-oven pizza were delicious. The staff were beyond kind, and the atmosphere quiet and relaxed. If I lived locally, I’d absolutely be back.

James and the crew always takes care of me! The coffee and wine programs make sure all my mornings and nights go smoothly. Love the quick market selections as well!

Cute atmosphere. I almost wanted to gate-keep it to keep it less busy. ?Great place to relax, casual meeting, grab a bit, you name it.

I came here because they offered coffee club (monthly coffee subscription).Staff is very friendly and the GM/owner is super inviting. The inside is cozy. I haven’t had the food but the coffee and pastries hit the spot!

Loved this sweet venue and went back more than once while attending a business conference down the street. The atmosphere was great, had wonderful specials, fabulous-looking baked goods, and a sizable beverage selection, hot and cold, as well as a mini-specialty store for last-minute items of a higher quality. They even had French macarons for dogs! There were indoor and outdoor sitting options. Clientele seemed to be regulars with friendly canine companions.

This is located across the street from Circle K on State and we've had their Croque Monsieur and Tomato basil soup. The soup was very light and felt very good to eat because of it. Had nice balance of flavor richness and creaminess. Their Croque monsieur was decent but the bread was over toasted. The meat and cheese inside was cooked well though, I enjoyed it.

Interesting menu. VERY SPECIFIC about times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did carry out. Busy. Outdoor seating as well. Market selections too.
Pastries are delicious but the customer service, in particular from the young blonde lady is quite subpar. Been there multiple times and have been treated poorly—-I wonder if it’s because I am an Asian person or if it’s assumed I work in the service industry (I don’t—actually a physician who lives down the street from this cafe). Service is so poor that when my parents who frequent Paris on an annual basis visit, I am afraid to take them there in person bc I’m worried they will be treated poorly. I buy the pastries and coffee to go so they can enjoy in an inviting environment. Quite disappointing.

I was disappointed that they did not have any gluten free options. They don't even carry honey for tea

It feels confused, It relies mostly on self-service, where you order and pick up your own food, But they do clear your plates. Portions were small and pricey, But that's not my main gripe. My main gripe is it doesn't know what it is. I don't know if it's small coffee shop that happens to serve food, or if it's a bakery with a good coffee program. It's target audience is wine moms, and maybe that's just not me. The drinks were better than the food but they only took up a quarter of the menu, The food was untraditional "more modern" versions of classic dishes. The people working there were nice, and friendly. But I just don't understand what exactly this place is going for. It's to modern to be artisanal. And to classic to be truly modern. It was just an okay experience, But in a city with so many great experiences I don't think I'll be going back. They do have good house chai. But that's about it.
