Your classic breakfast diner joint. They have a bit of classic Chicago politics memorabila, which is pretty cool. The servers are awesome. The breakfast is great. Don't pass on the cheesy hash browns. I'm sorry, unlike like every other place, there are no gaming stations, but if you go during the week their is a lawyer next door.

Ordered the blueberry waffles w/ a side of bacon and vanilla iced coffee for myself, both were great & very tasty! We also ordered the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup combo with the chicken soup and corn beef sandwich, which was not so great. Soup was oily and the sandwich was so thin & sad looking it wasn’t worth it for the price or taste. Hot coffee tasted burnt/old and wasn’t worth the price either. This was surprising since the iced coffee was so tasty! The atmosphere was nice though! A small quiet diner feel. All in all, stick with ordering breakfast foods.

Parking: Parking in the back and side of restaurant. Enter from the street or alley.

They’re a nice oasis I never knew I needed with that modern small town feel. It’d be a wonder if this place never been on a tv show or movie, because it looks so clean and quaint & exciting with older radio favs playing overhead speakers. Came in for a coffee during my car repairs nearby. They were so immediately ready; attentive to see what I would like to drink. I had asked and received options to leave my phone at a plug to charge (the options were in the front of the shop, which had a few other people charging stuff there too or a booth near a plug- I had bought a 6ft long charger, so that was a good fit for me).

I went crazy on my green stuffed pepper (rice and meat stuffing was more on the seasoned spices side) with the mashed potatoes and garlic bread slices. Looking forward to explore the hours they’re open thruout the fall in Chicago midway!

Kid-friendliness: Whipped cream, drink options like hot cocoa and a small designated kids menu. Booster chairs
