Eastern Europeans really know how to take simple, fresh ingredients and turn them into something shockingly good. The Burek is the main attraction, but the small appetizer portions of grilled or pickled or fresh vegetable dishes are so flavorful. Tasty salads, too. Unique cocktails help pass time while you wait for your Burek to be freshly baked. A great place to sit a while, hang out, enjoy each others' company, and take a break from processed food and meat-substitute-heavy dishes. I always leave feeling fresh and vital!

What a lovely experience. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. It has simple yet elegant and comforable decor. The food was quite delicious and the staff was just wonderful!! I highly recommend it.

This restaurant seemed like a good choice and while the inside was nice, and the service was fine, the food was not great.
Burek was good, but the cevapi were overcooked and dry. They also lacked the springy texture that I am accustomed to. I ordered the large cevapi and didn’t even eat half of it. Very disappointed.

Hit this spot every time I visit Chicago. Huge menu, but don’t overthink it. Grab the Beograd Special (or extra special depending on your party’s size), a couple sides, and a rakija flight for a 10/10 authentic experience.

Such good food and friendly staff. I am partial to their affogatos and their Beoburger. They have a lot of unique menu items too that are not found in many other restaurants. The patio is dog friendly.

This Serbian cafe has rich, flavorful dishes that feel both authentic and fresh. The staff is efficient and attentive without hovering. A bonus: the charming attached grocery store is stocked with regional staples and treats. As a Balkan i would avoid this place. Prices are ridiculously high. For example if you order burek with a service like doordash price ( without tip ) is 33$ ?? For burek seriously ??? Owner is obviously money hungry and I would avoid this place as a response to this absolutely unacceptable customer rip off behavior. Food is usually bland at best and just a bad sample of a real Balkan cuisine back home. Avoid.
