Pasta was way under cooked (not even close to Al dente). Creme brulee was soupy. Service was mediocre but friendly. Atmosphere was nice.

Cafe Bionda is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Paul is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great roast beef and calamari. Must come back. 10/10.

Cafe Bionda is a neighbor restaurant for me which makes it quite convenient to satisfy my Italian food craving when I’m not up to venturing too far away from home but tonight, I went in after having not eaten all day and was quite disappointed. I ordered a cocktail, grilled calamari and shrimp polenta.
The shrimp polenta was flavorful but the shrimp were undercooked and very chewy. I sent it back to have the shrimp cooked longer and to my liking but it came back more or less the same. The manager came over and asked if I’d like something else and suggested for me to look at the menu and consider choose something else. After staring at the menu, I decided to simply ask if they could just grill me some shrimp. The bartender said the manager went to find the cook then came back and said that they’d already cleaned and shut down the grill. Why offer something but not oblige? Sure they took the dish off the bill but it didn’t change the fact that I left disappointed, hungry and still paid $50 inc tip for a cocktail and a small sized order of grilled calamari. I am extremely disappointed and actually surprised at the outcome as it was completely unexpected.
Great food and service!!!
