Finally got a chance to try this place after hearing from many friends how good it is. Got the steak tacos and they were among the best I've ever had! Generously loaded and so flavorful and not the least bit dry (I have had a loooooot of dry steak tacos.) Horchata was sooo good too. Can't wait to try more on the menu!

Very bad service from the bartender. He brought me a cold coffee. I asked please if I could change it and he said no. That was not possible because everything is at the same temperature (what an absurd explanation) but I did charge a $15 tip for a table of 4 people. I will never go again

In our stay in Chicago this was our place to go, we searched restaurants days before our flight from NJ and we don’t regret it at all. Cafe con Leche was amazing from top to bottom, excellent service and absolutely delicious food, the staff very caring and accommodating. I have no doubt that I’ll come back if I visit Chicago again. Highly recommended!
Delicious every time we go! The service staff are always kind and considerate. The only reason it's not a perfect 5/5 is because it was a bit slow the last time we went. However this won't deter me from going again!

The menu online waa not.the menu in house, ee worked.with it.Empandas were underwhelming Soup was salty, didn't the cooks bother to taste before they sent it out. When I asked waitress fpr.hot water to put in the soup, she didn't offer to take it back. Ok.The pork sandwich was dry and didn't taste like pork. Don't you eat at other places and.taste your food to measure quality. Jibarito was ok. Black beans and.maduro good. Definitely not recommending this place again.

A famous local restaurant that has been here for ages, and has maintained its latin roots through all the change in the area. Good for a more upscale evening out, or a celebration. The Jibarito was good, and not as greasy as other restaurants which can be pleasant. Mojito was strong, and their seasonal pumpkin tart was sweet. The staff were nice and quick. Small area so can be cramped when busy during the winter.
