Worst sandwich ever. Had the caprese. How can they screw this up you ask? They sure did. Dry, barely any balsamic,, yellow tomato, mostly bread. Won't make this mistake again.
Better sandwich from the white hen around the corner.

Placed a pick up order through DoorDash order and it was ready within 10 minutes, it was super fast and convenient to get in and out. Everything tasted fresh, and the prosciutto was quality! Recommend!

I actually live in Alabama but was able to order cookies from here with the help of the owner. She actually sent me an email with a link to order the cookies. I ordered 2 dozen cookies and she weighed them, and packaged them, and shipped them via UPS, and sent me the tracking number. My sister sends me a few of these cookies every year around Christmas and they are all delicious. Best cookies I’ve ever tasted. You should try them out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Back when this shop was next to BVLGARI On Michagan Avenue, this was THEE place for my Italian styled celebrations. They have cookie bread like panini’s, DELICIOUS fried soup balls, creamy Havarti squares, fortified wine, an entire grocery store, pantry staples, and of course, coffee. Seriously, this is a MUST SEE shop when you are in Chicago.

The employee by the name of Arty who I believe is the manager/recipe guy is beyond rude I always come in here hoping to have a great experience and every time I leave very upset. When he is asked of anything, he just gives you the most disgusting attitude and stare before he gives it to you. Today I handed Arty my money for the order and I held my hand out to receive the change back but instead he placed the change down rudely on the counter and not in my hand as I held it out. He is is overly rude and disrespectful some of the other employees that work there are just as bad. Previously One of my coworkers was 5 cent short for a purchase and he refused to give him the item because he was ONLY 5 cent short. As if we aren’t daily customers, which i regret being . He does not give the utmost customer service experience that customers should have when coming to spend money in their establishment. They do not greet their customers nor accommodate requests when asked of simple things. when customers come inside as if our service isn’t what is keeping the business running. Lastly the food is overpriced and isn’t even truly worth the cost . Food is usually overly dry and cooked but they do have good soup . Overall I wouldn’t recommend this business as the manager and sometimes staff are overly rude and don’t appreciate their customers. A new business who respects and cares for their customers is needed in this community to replace this business.
I've eaten here three times hoping that there will be some improvement. In theory, this is the perfect lunch spot for me: it's near my apartment, quick, and relatively affordable. In practice, none of that makes up for the quality of the food. The first two sandwiches I bought were incredibly dry, which was very surprising given that the second one was a meatball sub covered in marinara. The third one, a panini, was absolutely mangled when I opened up the package. Making a decent ~5 ingredient Italian sandwich should not be this challenging.
The food is rlly good ?

I love the deli! Turkey pronto, arty special, diavolo! *chefs kiss!*
Owner double parks his car smack dab in a bike lane all day long, day after day. Amazingly he does this right next to the police academy and is never ticketed. He's been asked repeatedly to stop doing that and continues to do so. Obviously doesn't care about the community. Pass.
One of the best cafes in Chicago. A true Italian deli delight!

This place is absolutely delicious ! I love their sandwiches and coffee. The breakfast croissant is my favorite. You have to try their Lemmon cookies and chocolate caramelas, they’re to die for. ? I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick bite.
I ate at their location in the airport, they should be embarrassed call that pizza!
Really good food, everyone is friendly and welcoming.
The food was okay at best.
