The sausage pizza (Home Run Pizza) was very good, it was fresh, well cooked and delicious. I appreciated that it had a generous amount of cheese on it. It was expensive for a personal sized pizza but I guess that's to be expected inside of an airport. It's thin crust pizza so don't be expecting Chicago Deep Dish or pan pizza! They ran out of Coors Light so I got a Bud Light instead, also expensive. $12.99 for the pizza, $10.29 for the beer. If you have a long evening...
I was passing through MDW on June 2 in the morning with a long layover. I decided that I needed some breakfast and decided to give L'Appetito a try. The line went quickly and the server was pleasant. I ordered a egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwichIt was warm. It was not freshly prepared for me as there were a pile of wrapped breakfast sandwiches when I arrived. Ate here during a long layover. Line was terrible. While I don't fault the employees, they were putting out food as fast as they could, the line was incredibly daunting, extending out far past the storefront.
