Truly delicious! We got the lamb iskender, and the meat was tender and lean and perfectly done, and the slightly crunchy sauce soaked croutons felt really decadent. The vegetarian mezze platter was nice; it felt like a food value, but it's still only a few tablespoons of each item, so if you really like hummus or esme, I'd suggest getting a full sized one. My favorite Turkish restaurant in the city, this place is truly a undiscovered secret gem. Family owned and operated, the staff are courteous and attentive. If you go on Valentines day they usually have a Belly Dancer! lolAll of the food options are well crafted, I'm a big fan of their kabobs and always have a cup of Turkish coffee when I can. It's byob and a superb date/group date hang place.

We were perusing for something new and different for dinner on Yelp and ran across Cafe Orchid. When we came to pick up food, we were surprised that we have driven here so many times and have not stopped by! This is my first time trying Turkish cuisine and we were not disappointed!
