We were told about this place when my wife lamented the closure of a few good Czech restaurants (Czech plaza, and Bohemian Crystal) to a Czech lady who was trick or treating with her child in our neighborhood. She recommended this place and we've now gone numerous times.I've had the privilege of eating beef goulash in Prague over the years and this restaurant is about as close to the quality you get over in Europe you can get.The food, the service and the atmosphere are phenomenal. We will keep coming back and will bring friends and family with so they can experience the high quality food and service here.

Food is still good - but what is up with no gravy with an order of bread dumplings? No ice cream or piece of cake when celebrating a birthday? Really slow when they have large parties as well. The schnitzel is delicious, the goulash looks a bit off, the pizzas are great for kids, the soups are the stars.

First off the, Maître d informed us the reservation I made on Open Table was not valid because he canceled Open Table over a year ago. Then he went on to complain about Open Table being a rip-off. Fortunately, there was a table (maybe). It took over 45 min to order and 2 of their house specialties were not available. When the food finally arrived well over an hour after we were seated, my food was inedible (the sauerbraten, dry and tasteless) but my wife said her salmon was very good. They never came back to refill our water, maybe because we asked for tap water rather than the bottle water they "highly" recommended. There is more but you get the idea. Just go somewhere else.

After visiting the Czech Republic, I was craving authentic Czech goulash (which, in my opinion, is the best goulash in Europe). As someone living in the loop, I was willing to make the trip to the suburbs based on the authentic menu- the food exceeded expectations and was exactly like the goulash I had in Prague. We also had the schnitzel (pork), but was surprised they did not have a veal or beef option.Service was excellent and there is a nice bar with whatever game is on as well. Beer was appropriately priced and poured well.No doubt would come here again whenever I have a Czech cuisine itch to scratch.
