We were told we couldn’t sit at the open seats at the bar during brunch, we waited the promised 30min for a seat and would be texted, never received anything after an hour. we went in and asked and weren’t seated. management needs organization.
I went for brunch. The food is pretty tasty but everything is extremely heavy. I thought I liked heavy, but this lingered for me all day in a way that was not pleasant. But the space is nice and the staff are extremely friendly. All in all, I don't think I would go back out recommend.

Have been here a few times great brunch! The staff is very nice! If you want to get breakfast or brunch, definitely make reservations, or you will be waiting at least 30 minutes! The hotel that is connected is also gorgeous!

Nice spot for bunch, but so odd that you have to enter the building on N Ave, then walk all the way around…. Goofy layout.

Even though they serve the brunch basics, there's nothing basic about the taste. They really know their flavors here and keep a nice balance of salt, fat, acid, and heat. Getting a reservation was simple, and we were promptly sat upon arrival. Although there were only a few other patrons, our server chose to seat my party in an empty section opposite the translucent kitchen pantry wall. Typically, I would appreciate the semi-private dining, but being able to see the supply overflow really killed the vibe. Other than that, the staff was very welcoming and attentive throughout the dining experience. Thankully the tasty 😋 high-quality food arrived soon to grab our attention and knock our socks off! Many compliments to the chef for masterfully layering flavors and serving up appetizing presentations.

Edit: I wrote this review right before we went in. Unfortunately they keep changing the menu on us. Within the last few months they changed our two favorite dishes for the worse- the omelette (as of this week) and breakfast sandwich. It was pretty disappointing since generally you'd expect an established restaurant to maintain their dishes and offer a different selection using weekly specials. It's too bad because we've come to love Robey and have been regulars for years. We may have to find a new spot :(

We are regulars. The omelette and the pancakes are my go to. My husband usually gets the salmon bagel. They need to bring back the sausage breakfast sandwich though. That was a big winner. Good coffees, atmosphere, and service. We love Robey!

I used to be a regular when I lived the area but the place has gone downhill the last few years. The food doesn’t taste good, and the service is subpar as well. How do you make a $17 avocado toast inedible? I sent it back, which I never do. The avocado you couldn’t even taste, it was straight up like juice. The egg came way overdone nearly hardboiled instead of soft boiled. Had to ask for utensils twice. Never going back.

The menu has a lot of great options. I recommend Duck Hash.

Stellar every time we come in. Def recommend a rese but we did 4 at the bar seating and the service was impeccable for breakfast.
Menu has just the right amount of breadth, and doesn’t sacrifice on the quality. The hash browns were divine, and the egg sandwich was chef’s kiss.
All of it made even better by Giselle and the staff that made our meal special. Can’t wait to go back.

Great brunch menu options at reasonable prices.
I have the tomato soup and cubana sandwich. Both delicious. Wanted to try their coffee and ordered a cappuccino. Also well made.
