The place is beautiful but the food was not that great.my son got the chulera frita with white rice and beans,the chulera was over cooked beans not too good and I had mofongo and steak but steak looked like it has been sitting there for a while.im a good eater but for me to give this place a one star it took a lot.????

Authentic Puerto Rican food they truly take their time and serve some delicious food trust me I could cook and this place wowed me 100 percent their prices are so reasonable and when you walk into the restaurant you just want to dance and Perriar lol their ambiance is very festive and I love it I RECOMMEND!!!!!

This used to be a favorite for my family & I however we unfortunately had a distasteful experience to say the least, the last time we ate here . Let me start by saying the two women who were working this day, we had never seen before . It wasn’t our usual servers or waitresses. My husband had ordered the canoa & had asked if he could add extra toppings as it just comes with just meat only . The woman said it would be extra & he said okay that’s fine & then he was ultimately denied adding toppings which was extremely odd . He offered to pay the additional charge to add cheese, crema, etc but they told him no it comes how it comes . Then why even say that extra toppings are an additional charge if you were going to deny the extra toppings anyways ? Doesn’t quite make sense . We both got two of the beverages that are displayed on the counter, served in glass cups with majority of ice so needless to say we finished the drinks relatively fast as they were mostly ice . He asked for refills & was told they do not do refills but any other time we dine in, the waitress gives us refills when they see our drinks are low or empty . He said alright then I’ll just take two more of the same beverages, he was denied & told word for word “only one of each” .. however we did not see anything advertising that you can not purchase more than one of those beverages per customer . Which also does not make sense considering we have received refills previously when we dine in . This was a terrible experience overall, we had to finish our food with out drinks because again we were denied purchasing more than one drink for each of us . Our daughter just underwent dental surgery so I had given her whatever was left of my one drink so she could eat her food comfortably since AGAIN we weren’t allowed to purchase more beverages & she finished hers before her food even came, just a terrible experience . It was so odd because as I said before, we dine here often & have never experienced anything like this before which is why we chose to eat there because we knew it was food our daughter enjoys & was able to eat . Very disappointed in the service we received & how the situation was handled by staff . Needless to say we will find a different Puerto Rican restaurant to eat at .
