I’m so sad this place is closing. The food and service were always outstanding. Our last dinner there was no exception. I hope the new owners don’t change too much. It just has this really lovely unpretentious vibe. No gimmicks, nothing to prove. Just good food, cozy atmosphere, and good service.
Had a lovely visit to Cafe Selmarie this week. Their pesto and eggs was absolutely delicious and their cinnamon roll was also a treat. Sad to see this cozy cafe go and I wish I'd had a chance to spend more time grabbing lunch or a pastry here.
Beautiful and traditional restaurant that serves a variety of fine foods. I can't believe that they are supposed to permanently close soon. I hope that this information is not true as neighborhood restaurants like this are getting rarer every day.
