Cafe Tacuba Chicago Reviews
i came in for tamales to bring home and was impressed with the freshness and how well-filled they were. i want to come back for breakfast and for sure taste those tacos with homemade tortillas!
Thank you @cafetacuba.chi for the great Sunday tacos!! Steak was the best, then al pastor (with pineapple and a great orange salsa), then chicken. Although Tacuba is very unassuming the tacos were VERY good and we for sure recommend stopping by if you’re in Albany Park. Highly suggest splurging the extra twenty five cents for the house made tortillas!! Wasn’t really sure why the entire place was beach themed but oddly enough it added to the charm on a beautiful spring day....read full review
Very impressed with their takeout packaging. Tacos we're wrapped in wax paper and foil so they stayed hot. Steak tacos we're good and Al pastor was good too. Tried the pablano sopes and also delicious. Packaging was great for this too and stayed warm and fresh. They even packaged sliced limes for tacos! Was excited to try homemade tortillas and tamales but was informed they no longer make either.
