I’ve been going here on and off for three years. It’s overpriced and ALWAYS slow. Food is good… but I’m going to stop giving it the benefit of the doubt!

This is a really cute place on the corner! The outside seating is perfect and the menu is simple with amazing items. I only did not enjoy my coffee because it was so sweet I couldn't finish it.

This little corner cafe was awesome. THE Maxwell Street breakfast burrito was insane & so filling. The chilaquiles were so flavorful! ? To drink, we got the Horchata Latte and Lavender Lemonade. Let me tell you, usually Horchata lattes are a hit or miss at other places but this one hit the spot. That Lavender Lemonade was so refreshing. Just perfect for this Chicago heat/humidity we got going on.

This is our favorite coffee shop to stop at en route to Wisconsin or Northern Illinois hikes. Located right before the 90/94 split makes it a perfect pit stop without taking up too much time, especially since we can order ahead directly from them! We both love their breakfast burrito (they are hearty and the salsa it comes with ~chefs kiss~, ideal prehike breakfast that is wrapped perfectly to eat in the car without making a mess). I’m a fan of their honey oatmilk latte, while my husband’s standard is an iced americano. Next time we hope to dine in on their cozy sidewalk patio! Thanks for another great breakfast, Cafe Urbano!

This is a fun coffee shop. Decor is fun. The shop is lit nicely by the east facing windows. There are two covered outdoor seating areas. Very nice.
The coffee was above average and well made.
The food was unremarkable. The egg sandwich, a breakfast panini, was good but needed something like a sauce to improve the experience. The vegan burrito was good but had too much oil. Both breakfasts were good, just nothing special.

The coffee is really bad. It's a shame because I'd prefer to go get coffee locally rather than Starbucks or Dunkin. I've had four different coffees from here, both hot and iced, and not a single one was good. The Horchata Latte is more of a gimmick,(which is a shame for a latino café) than an actual drink. It's definitely the worst out of the 4. The donuts are really good. I don't see myself ever getting breakfast from here considering the coffee costs so much and is still so bad then I'm not sure I want to risk it with the breakfast. The service is fine, the cashier may not really pay attention to your order, but everyone is friendly, it's not really a big deal for me.
