Somehow made Colectivo drop taste more like water than coffee. Added espresso to a chai latte and served it hot instead of iced. Muffin from their pastry case was mushy. Very cute inside.

Simple neighborhood coffeehouse serving Collectivo coffees. The standout however is the breakfast burritos. Menu is Latin inspired and Chicago made. Delish. Nice indoor and outdoor seating, all thats missing is some bike racks. Walls adorned w local artists paintings / works. Disco.
Oct 2025 - still awesome

Visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere is pleasant with natural lighting, which I love. The Abuelita Mocha was one of the best I’ve had and the cashier was lovely! Can’t wait to come back and will have to check out the other location too :)) Keep doing what you’re doing.
P.S: they have an Ube 3 leches, which I didn’t try, but will come back to do so

Vibe and service fantastic. Food not so much. I ordered ice coffee and pastry and both were very sweet. But it was nice to sit outside and enjoy good weather.

When I make my way to Chicago, I always try to swing by Cafe Urbano. This place is unique and oh so charming - definitely a spot to savor.
The food and drinks are Delish (with a capital D). I fell in love with the chagacinno - affectionately known as the chaga chaga chaga. The woo woo is implied :). Made from chaga mushrooms, this latte not only packs a tasty punch but also gives a healthy boost to your immunity. Nothing like a coffee drink that tastes good and is good for you. It’s like the Cheerios of coffee drinks!
We ordered a quesadilla and a wrap. Both were on point - both filling and with solid flavor. I loved how the wrap had plenty of gooey cheese and avocado that melted in my mouth. Everything was fresh and high quality; not prepackaged, flavorless, and overpriced food that you grab from the case of a chain coffee shop on every corner of Chicago (that might rhyme with war bucks).
The service is top notch. The staff are always willing to provide a smile and even play a quick game of rock paper scissors - for what it’s worth be ready for a solid rock throw from the barista. I always have a soft spot in my heart for those who put up with my reindeer games with a smile. I definitely left with more joy after my visit to Cafe Urbano.
This is a unique shop in a town full of run of the mill coffee shops offering the same coffee drinks. I love how Cafe Urbano is creative and innovative while offering quality food, drinks and service. I can’t wait to get back to this cute little shop and a little chaga chaga chaga…….WOO WOO!!!

I accidentally ordered from the wrong restaurant but we caught it in time and they beamed the order to a closer location. The menu I saw on line was incomplete (they have biscuits and gravy!) but the food was good quality and generous portions. I only made it half way through my Maxwell breakfast burrito before I tapped. I actually might be by tomorrow to try the B and Gs!

Came buy for a quick brunch with my mom, we both enjoyed our drinks and the breakfast burrito was delicious! There isn't that many tables but there was space to sit on a Saturday morning. It's also super close to a garden center!

First time here and I was very surprised when the chilaquiles had so much flavor very authentic but with their urban mix. Coffee is great, recommend the Abuelita Mocha.
Definitely coming back

I’ve noticed that nearly every time I order from this location through Uber Eats, an item is missing from my order. Unfortunately, today was the last straw. It’s disappointing because the coffee is excellent, and the cheddar biscuits were a favorite. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency moving forward.

Great flat iron spot on the corner with unique food offerings, collectivo coffee, and good vibes.
The food and drinks we got were good. Especially the polish sausage breakfast burrito.
Definitely worth your time to stop in.
