Hidden little gem in the heart of the loop off of Michigan ave, really kind staff. The pros: this place has a dedicated vegan menu that tells you what’s in everything. My vegan pan con bistec honestly left a lot to be desired, very little flavor or seasoning, the sandwich is also very small for $15. The $17 plates are Much more food, I’d come back and try the salsichon platillo. Very good little grab-a-bite place, either to go or to eat in.
First time and this is some of the best food I have had. A++. My new favorite place.
Great food, fast service

Ate here twice while staying at the hostel. Everything was very good! Got a Cubano to-go my first night. Next morning got a parfait (which is huge), a Chimichurri breakfast sandwich (also huge), and a cafe con leche. Sat and ate and did some work.
They're almost always busy, but they keep up pretty well. I think they're too busy to be overly nice but they're nice enough.
Also got a piece of tres leches cake as I was leaving - it was awesome!

Best sandwich place. Best place to eat around here. Great staff. Great coffee. I have lived in the area for awhile and this is the only place I don't get tired of. Chivito Sandwich is so good.

Cashier was mean and rude. And sandwich had too much lettuce. More than normal.

The Cuban coffee (similar to a dolce latte) was delicious, and the signature sandwich was a bit dry, so I went for the toast with avocado and egg instead.

Lowkey cafe with excellent Cuban coffee and breakfast options! Get tres leches pancakes and anything that has mojo sauce for a great sweet & savory combo

I enjoyed a tasty Cuban sandwich and iced cafe con leche. Recommended for anyone looking for a quick bite. I stopped by in the morning before a visit to the Art Institute.

No cream for the coffee and other items not available. Great people work there but give them what they need to provide a service.
For the price I could of had everything I wanted like I wanted at the hotel.
Disappointing experience.
