My friend and I shared the guava chicken and margarita pressed sandwich. Both were SO good! My only reason for a 4 star is due to the service. They were not very attentive. We were say and did not have anyone come by to our table for ten minutes despite being only one of 3 tables. The food was great but I will probably order to go for next time :)

The sandwiches at this place are truly some of the best I’ve ever had. The bread is thin and perfectly crispy, which makes every bite incredibly satisfying. My favorite is Sandwich #2 on their menu, which really stands out. I’m not usually a big sandwich person, but this one impressed me more than any other I’ve tried. Their hot sauce is amazing as well! I even grabbed a small bottle of it and another sandwich to go!!! I will definitely come back~~~

Cozy and welcoming place with a great atmosphere.
Simple but delicious menu with fresh food and a great variety of pressed sandwiches. The tater toast: amazing.
The coffee is amazing, prices are reasonable, and there is indoor seating available.
📌Parking can be a bit tricky due to the area, but it’s worth it.
Clean space and restrooms, plus friendly and attentive staff.
Recommended if you value details and real experiences and real opinions. 👑

Tried their chivito sandwich. Really good food and service.
I'm a huge fan of the small intimate cafe style restaurants. This place not only has some of the best coffee ☕ I've tasted but the food is on point as well.

Cafecito is a hidden jewel. The entrance is combined with a hostel. Perfect pairing, if you ask me! Lounge and food, yes please! The customer service could be slightly better? They are nice but with a tired attitude. Their menu is easy to read and you are able to understand the ingredients in each item. I ordered the “El Gringo” which was a full plate of bacon strips, 2 fried eggs (over medium, of course) & tater tots. A small suggestion would be to provide more side salsa/sauce options. The salsa we got, which they only have 1 option, had a “Cholula” flavor to it. And while I am very aware that this is a Cuban style cafe & that Cubans focus their palate towards savory, aromatic flavors from garlic, cumin, oregano, onions, & citruses - adding a little bit of a heat option as a topping would be lovely, in my PERSONAL opinion. I also ordered the hot chocolate & it was a little watered down but personally appreciated the less rich/thick consistency. All flavors and food tasted fresh and delicious overall! We walked over to the place so do not know if there’s free parking around, but given the fact that it’s in a downtownish area, there’s probably paid to park options all around.

Staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food comes out quickly and tastes AMAZING!! Best saltado I've had in a while. So sad we're only visiting Chicago or this would be our new regular spot

Genuinely one of my favorite breakfast places and lunch foods i have eaten. I have been to miami calle ocho and had cuban in many places, and this restaurant n stands up to them all. The bread is perfect wherever you get get some bread. The cortadito and cafecito are perfect.
